What an incredible night for LSU football as five players herd their names called out in the first round. Even more incredible four of them were not highly regarded when recruiting and were only three star recruits. The fifth one didn't play football until his junior year.

This speaks volumes for their work ethic and not paying attention to the nay sayers.

It is also is a testimony to the coaches for providing an opportunity for all players to compete for positions. It also makes a big statement about the staff's ability to coach them up.

This was one big purple and gold infomercial.

Pretty sure Burrow and Chaisson were 4+ stars and i haven't even thought of the rest

Queen was, too

i thought CEH was, but 247 had him as a 3-star

Queen and Burrow were low four stars I believe and Jefferson a two star. Chaisson was a high 4, borderline 5 star. Clyde is the only actual 3 star according to composite rankings lol. But yes, ALL have amazing come from behind stories! Truly says something about LSU’s ability to develop talent (who woulda said that 4 years ago??)

Jefferson would have been a 4-star if his grades were in order

Burrow was definitely a three star, thought Queen was also but might have missed on him. None of them except Chaisson was highly rated so still speaks well for being coachable and the development process at LSU.

show your work.

I guess it depends on what site you trust. 247 and ESPN both have him as a 4 star

That is development unlike Saban who gets them directly from HS.

James Carpenter was a 2 star
Dont’a Hightower, Jacobs, and Warmack were 3 stars
Ryan Kelly, Dareus, and Quinnen Williams were low 4 stars

All went in the first round
