Found some LSU recruits for 2014 - trick play!

That was in my playbook in High School - 1968. We ran it once, for a gain of about 25 yards.
We also had a fumble-rooski, a Bum-a-rooski (Bum Phillips was coaching HS at the time just across the Sabine River from us). We ran each of these once during the year. Had a swinging-gate play also.
I think one of the reasons we practiced them was to give our defense a chance to see them and know how to defend.
Oh, by the way, we played in the State Finals that year against Woodlawn High (Shreveport) with Joe Ferguson as their quarterback. Were we chickenshit? You decide.

When I coached Rec football we won a game on a hook and ladder on the last play of the game.
This one is way better!

Flea flickers, fumblerooskies, reverses, etc are fine and part of the game. Deceiving 12 yr olds who are coached to fire off the ball at the snap is chickenshit. That coach needs his arse kicked.

We used that same play back in Jr. Hi.
Our QB counted off 15 yards before starting to run = ran it the play after we got a 15 yard penalty = he said he 'wanted to check it.'
