Maybe a Joe Burrow or a Patrick Peterson needs to remind them that NFL teams look for toughness and strength of character. Commitment to your team and organization is just as important as skill.

Not Odell Beckham either.

Plenty to pick from.

Someone standing infront of the team giving a speech isn't going to fix busted coverage, no run defense, no run offense, basically the saddest LSU team I've ever witnessed.

No you had great players last year and a 2nd string of good players with obvious shite work ethic since the great players left and these kids never played last year, but they reaped the benefits of that great team. NOW the effort shows up in & team is slow and they need work they aren’t the starters from last year they need a gut check and coached up. Many of the coaches are suffering from the same dilemma.

Is the coaching staff incapable of fixing things without a former player talking to the team?

Brandon Taylor needs to be on site and repeat his bit from yesterday.

They need some dogs in there to drop about 500 F bombs and almost fight people, they are so passionate about this team embarrassing the colors these former players wore proudly.

So far, O and this pathetic excuse for a staff have answered this question.

Yes.

I think we overestimate what coaches can do. Some of it has to come from the players.

I agree but that's also where the problem starts. It shouldn't take former players if you have the right coaches doing it.

Maybe Cecil the Diesel Collins? I’m sure the car wash can give him an afternoon off.

How about someone talk to the coaches about making adjustments in game and not the following week of a loss. They thought they could use the same game plan against South Carolina against Auburn. Has anyone noticed that in the losses, that the teams are blitzing inside and playing press man on the outside. Teams know Terrace is only playing slot this year, move him outside sometimes. We all know it's maybe 2 or 3 running plays we have. On defense, linebackers are asked to cover slot receivers. It's literally rush 4, linebackers play man and safeties play deep. That's not hard to scheme against. The first half until their last drive, it felt like Auburn was trying to find something to work and then they finally did and it was down hill from there. Our offense and defense are simple, what you see is what you get and against teams of almost equal talent and better coaching, Saturday is the result.
