Yeah based on the spring game, which is no way nearly as intense as an actual SEC game, I think both JL and MF should be starting. I can’t figure out what is wrong with that dastardly Miles, but he obviously has a hard on for JJ and SR for some reason.

I just want to see him get some reps. Why not give him some reps up by 22 on state with 3 minutes left.

Why? He's a RS Freshman.

And Blue and Ware are true freshman. Plus, we run 15 plays apparently. Can it be that hard to learn?
I have to believe something else is going on, especially cause Blue keeps putting the ball on the ground. Blue is going to be a good one, but has to secure the football.

The two best RBs by far are Ridley and Ford. Ford made Ridley look sick in the Spring game. Murph is no good the last 5 years plus the FR are young and promising.

Blue will be added to the Miles favorites-that-are-immune-from-accountability group
And Ford can be added to the long list of "Fan favorites that-are-victims-of-the-coaching group"
Charles Scott (when Hester was starting)
Keiland Williams
Steven Ridley (after the La Tech game when CS was starting)
Michael Ford (Now that Ridley is starting)
Jordan Jefferson (When Lee was starting)
J. Lee (When J. Jefferson is starting)

Yeap. You've seen every play we have. There's really no strategy behind this. Every game is actually solely played to entertain the audience. It's not actually about winning, or not giving teams down the road good previews of all your plays and tendancies. It's more or less just a theatrical show where Gary Crowton shows us all the cool plays he's drawn up and we go "wooooah". Can't believe he only drew up 15 of em this year.

I think part of Ford's problem stems from his not taking care of his academics. I can't remember the article but Miles was not happy about Ford's lack of progress as a student athelete.Miles places great emphasis on the student part of student-athelete.There was a situation with Chad Jones and baseball his first year because of academics with Miles.
If this is the issue, or some other factor that fans are just not aware of, I hope that Miles is communicating with his players and letting them know why they are in the "dog house".
If a player starts to feel resentful because they can't see the reason why other, younger players are getting game time and they are not, it can cause problems for the team. Maybe Miles just thnks that Blue is better. Fine, but he should communicate that to Ford with specifics on areas he can improve.
No one can doubt that Miles holds his cards very close to the chest, but that should not include keeping that type of information from the players in question. I hope that's not the case. Can anyone with inside knowledge give some insight into this matter?

You cannot argue that we are running a basic, basic offense at this point. Our formations, etc, everything is rather predictable. If you choose to argue this, then you are obviously focusing on the results (which aren't very good anyway) and not the process. I like to look at both.
Does this look like the same playbook from 2007?
ETA: I was encouraged by the appearance of the jailbreak screen against State, although the pass was batted down at the LOS. Shep probably would have scored on that play.

It's pretty absurd that ford isn't getting carries
He's been on campus since spring 2009.
If he doesn't know the playbook, the coaches need to teach better
If he can't learn it, why was he recruited?
do you know what ford's grades are? do you know if he gives it his all at practice? do you know if he's on time for team meetings? do you know if he has an attitude toward the coach? do you know if he's better than blue or ware?
i'm not saying ford is a problem player. i don't know. Just like everyone on here, we don't know what is going on. however, if you have ever coached, you realize there are players who are more difficult to coach than others. if talent is close, who are you going with? the kid that gives you the least problems/headache.

I just hope he doesn't transfer. I have seen him play & I think Les should give him a shot.

Yeah only the fans thought he was good enough...
and the Redskins who signed him for 3 years and 1.2 million.

This was the thinking last year. Did you happen to catch the Florida game last season?
