I prefer this:
1) Auburn loses to UGA and Bama
2) Oregon drops one of those away games
3) LSU wins out and beats Florida/S. Carolina in SECCG
LSU beats TCU in BCSCG.
At that point even I couldn't be bitching about Miles..

ools, and negatigers...
There is no such thing as a negatiger. I believe that now. After seeing how Miles's supporters shredded JLee at every turn. There are still Miles supporters who call themselves positigers refusing to acknowledge what JLee has done the last 2 weeks. I am optimistic about this defense. I still like our special teams. I am now optimistic that we can keep teams honest by throwing down the field with JLee and not kill Steven Ridley by having everybody waiting to nail him on the line of scrimmage. And by the way we have rediscovered our offensive playmakers with JLee. JLee was given an inch and took a mile.

He also pulled JJ twice and put JL in on obvious throwing downs, so your conspiracy theory blows
Difference is, when JL was tossed in on 3rd and long or 4th and long, he produced!

The interesting thing will be his weight though, which may make NFL teams think he would be better suited to playing safety. In that case the Nebraska CB would be the #1 CB, but PP would still be drafted above him as a safety in the 5-10 range.
frick that. Every NFL team in the league is dying to have a guy like PP at corner. These days there are too many Andre/Calvin/Chad Johnson types who are 6'4" 225 and run a 4.4. . I dont care how good at the position you are, if you're 5'10 190, these type of receiver WILL beat you. PP on the other hand.. he is THE answer.
Maybe I just have a man-crush.. only time will tell. Barring injury, I'd be more surprised if PP didn't make it in the NFL hall of fame than if he did.
GEAUX TIGERS!!!

if he cant do that then he needs to go play basketball at the Rec.

When we played USC in 79, they said that the atmosphere made storied Notre Dame look like a romper room.
When we played Auburn in 88, they said we made the earth tremble in fear.
When Florida fell in 97, they said you couldn't hear the Golden Band in all the jubilant madness.
When we broke UGA's heart in 03, they said "The Chant" beat back defeat.
When Tebow was slain in 07, it was the roar that made him bow his head and cry.
Brought a tear to me eyes..

Great post.. awesome guy. I had a class with him last year I guess.. heard me listening to Currency and started a conversation with me. Real friendly and well spoken, even when the cameras aren't on. Great guy that you love to see succeed.

Miles isn't going anywhere. If anyone wanted to start a meaningful thread, it would be "Who do you want as our next offensive coordinator?"
Norm Chow, Gus Malzhan, Tony Franklin, Mark Richt, Mike Sherman, Ralph Friedgen, Rich Rodriguez, Tom O'Brien, Bill Lynch or Clarence Shelmon?
Couldn't agree more. I don't see Miles going anywhere at this point, but Crowton honestly should have been axed after last season and I can't imagine he won't be gone following this year. I'm not a huge Miles fan by any means, but he's a decent man and a good recruiter.
If Chavis keeps his foot on the gas for 4 quarters we have a top tier defense. It seems to me if we had a decent offensive gameplan, we could just let Les keep doin his thing saying ridiculous quotes and recruiting good talent, and have the actual brains behind the program be with the coordinators.

Yeap. You've seen every play we have. There's really no strategy behind this. Every game is actually solely played to entertain the audience. It's not actually about winning, or not giving teams down the road good previews of all your plays and tendancies. It's more or less just a theatrical show where Gary Crowton shows us all the cool plays he's drawn up and we go "wooooah". Can't believe he only drew up 15 of em this year.
This was the thinking last year. Did you happen to catch the Florida game last season?

You realize the athletic department/TAF pays Miles, not the state.

Except Florida and Georgia are far from "ALL TIME ELITE", Saban ain't goin nowhere, Jo Pa will retire when he's dead, and no way Urban leaves after a subpar year immediately following Tebow's exit..
So, can LSU compete with, possibly UGA for a head coach? I do believe so, and am hoping Chris Peterson is as tired of going undefeated and not competing for a title as I imagine..
