Would you rather play a big name program like FSU, Nebraska, USC or UCLA in the Fiesta this year?

It ain't about the helmets and jersies it's about the team that's in them. UCF is a good football team. Are they top 4? Probably not. Top ten? Possibly. Top 20? Definitely.

LSU has far more to gain by playing UCF in the Fiesta Bowl than they would in an 11 am game vs a big ten also ran. The game will get far greater publicity than a lesser bowl against a bigger name would.

Tiger fans should be excited about this matchup.

LSU could lose the game, people need to chill with the “UCF isn’t worthy” shite.

They will beat the brakes off of this team without those dbs and lbs. no pass rush to boot. No subbing in dlinemen. It is a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE matchup.

That's not the point. I'd rather play a team that isn't down their best player. I'd LOVE to play UCF if they had Milton, it would be a really fun game and I think we'd win so that's good too.

It’s a lose/lose scenario.

LSU has nothing to gain playing this team.

You realize LSU is likely to without some of our best players as well? We have a starting linebacker out for a half thanks to targeting in the fifth OT.

I wouldn’t bet my money on LSU in this one.

I'm always a little worried when comes to teams that pass really well. Could work out great and DBs can get some picks or not and they could get toasted... a lot.

No - as these teams aren't bowl eligible. Would I rather play Michigan, Ohio State, Washington, Texas, or Penn State? Absolutely.

LSU-UCF will be a dud. They'll bring maybe 10,000 "fans" max. They are a directional school with no history or meaningful fan support. It really is a lose-lose for LSU.

you have lost your mind and obviously have never seen their offense. They won’t come off the field and LSU would be worn out before the half.

UCF has ZERO trouble with the LSU defense because of the missing players.

Nothing to do with prestige it's just a lose lose situation for LSU. They aren't going to get much credit if they beat a UCF team without Milton and will get ridiculed if they lose. Nothing to do with prestige.

I legitimately can't tell you what conference UCF is in. Is Charlie Strong still coaching them?

Do tell what do you think the score will be at the end of half and at the end of the game? This outta be good.

He is talking about the perception, not the actual match up.

It's a lose/lose. LSU wins, so what? They beat a non-P5 team who was down its best player. LSU loses, and it lost to a non-P5 team who was down its best player.
