miles knows the offense like the back of his hand. it's his. and I HAVE seen him with a playsheet before on the sidelines

I think Cam is of the same offensive mind as Les.
then you have never watched a cam cameron offense at any other stop than LSU

When you see basically the same offensive structure (ie, predictable, vanilla) over the years, it's pretty clear Miles is drawing the roadmap even if Cam is the one driving.

offense suck - Les calls
offense good - Cam the shiznit
This. We lose, Les is a control freak who doesn't let his coordinators coach. We win, Les finally learned to trust his co-ordinators.

Choctaw is still delusional as ever
says the guy who said Dak and Young would be a below average QBs at LSU one year after we had a 3000+ yard QB and 2 1000+ yard receivers.
but i'm the delusional one. don't let your emotions cloud your judgement

The best way I have heard this put

I have always doubted this, but I saw on a close up of Miles on the 4th down play late, I swear he was giving CC the formation before the camera panned away. I will have to go back and watch again.

no we didnt. Against ulm yes. We ran the I with 1 te and 2wrs more than with two tes saturday night. Like i said, the plays in the passing game were there, skipped balls, overthrows, drops. The plays were there.

quote:Thats just dumbasses who are like that. Les's philosophy is all over the offense in wins and losses. But it is getting painfully obvious now he needs to change. College football has evolved to where the offenses are way ahead of the defenses. Hell, even Saban and Bama are throwing it now. The game is changing, we have to learn a new way to hunt or starve

you dont think Miles tells them the overall strategy? You dont think they have meetings before the game where he outline show the game should go?
Do YOU think in these meetings Miles says, "Cam, run up the middle -- I don't care how many times it doesn't work -- that's our ID and I want you to ONLY do that!... and by the way -- if we have 2 QBs -- play the one that I say, not the one YOU think gives us the best chance to win... do it MY way buddy -- or hit the road"
Is that what you think?

Last season was Cameron doing his thing in most of the early games. Quick strike passing to Landry and Beckham which had LSU moving the ball well. Then later on in the season the offense went back to being run, pound type of offense first. And has picked up this season where it left off. That is definitely Miles telling Cameron what he wanted from him offensively.
