Funny how you don't even consider the one available coach with a national title: Gene Chizik. He would be the best candidate.

LOL. There's a reason nobody else considered him for a job in last year's coaching carousel either.

Ok, so we can make up the difference by not having the highest paid OC in the game. Jimbo will be the OC.

Money doesn't just talk, it screams! In any event, I don't think Fisher would leave FSU.

I'm not saying LSU shouldn't try, I just don't think he would want to leave what he's built at FSU. Money could get it done though.

So "objectivity" is wanting to fire the most successful coach in school history after a loss? You continue to prove that you are an imbecile that has no objectivity and little to no football knowledge

ceo head coaches are a waste of money. most head coaches can run one side of the ball. miles cannot.

Malzahn, Newton and Fairley had more to do with AU's last NC, than Chizik did. Chizik would not be a good choice.

If he goes 6-6 or worse this year which is about 90% likely IMO, and doesn't win 8 or 9 in 2015, then he gone. Guaranteed.

they had the money to buy him out in 2010 if he had another zook like year but Lee and or the D bailed him out of the UNC, UF, bama and Ut games.

Exactly. When shite goes wrong, the "CEO" coach is fricking clueless as to how the fix it. Seriously, he has no fricking clue.

Let's look at the NC's the past 10 years and see how many "CEO" coaches have won:

'13- FSU- nope
'12- Bama- nope
'11- Bama- nope
'10- Auburn- Kind of, but Cam.
'09- Bama- nope
'08- UF- nope
'07- LSU- yes, but it needs an asterisk with 2 L's.
'06- UF- nope
'05- UT- yes, but VY
'04- Auburn- nope

So the past 10 NCs, the CEO coach has only won 3 times, with 2 of those times needing a VY or Cam talent at QB. The other time involved luck and two fricking losses. I think it's clear.

How come Bama and TAMU dont' fall apart and lose to MSU at home due to a "super Young" team? They just refricking load.

Jimbo Fisher- The only one I could see leaving right now. Likes FSU, but FSU won't up the $ for asst coaches or his salary.

In theory, having Jimbo Fisher would be great but it comes with the hassle of trying to figure out where to hide my consistent boner for the next couple months after the announcement

paterno and mack brown were two of the last ceo head coaches. chessedick was supposedly a defensive guy who could run that side of the ball.

and 2004 was won by USC but Petey can coach one side of the ball.

How about Chad Morris, OC at Clemson? He would kill recruiting offensive players from Texas.

Rainbows, unicorns, and pixies! It has been 8 seasons since Les raised that trophy and the 3 losses a year is getting old. I think Todd Berry at ULM would be awesome. He is getting it done at ULM with smallest football budget in America!
