Will you please explain why? I know we're beating the dead horse here but I am just curious why you people feel like Miles owes you something.

Why don't you fair share people go back to occupying some city and leave football alone?

I agree. Life isn't fair and Miles is winning football games which is what he is paid for. He doesn't owe the fans an explanation about anything.

Gotya. Football, like life, is all about whats fair and what makes everyone feel good. That's why the game is so great and we all love it. Duh!?!?!!?

This - why do people think Miles silence is a lack of character? Perhaps he's just keeping everything in-house because it's no one's business. He doesn't hang his players out to dry, and that's why they'll run through a brick wall for him.

Whoa there buddy! Don't you know race magically disappeared in the 80's? You are not allowed to ever mention it. At least thats how it works if you say someone is being mistreated cause they are black

it sure is hard to accept knowing we have a good passer on the side lines and a qb on the field that cant pass or think for shite..

Statistics don't back up your opinion. Lee and Jefferson have virtually identical QB ratings and completion %. Jefferson has a better TD/INT ratio and is doing much more in the ground game.

We'll just have to trust Miles. Miles is a guy with a lot of character and we should wait until and if it comes out as to why he hasn't played JL yet.

The team seems to understand whatever is being done.

He doesnt owe us anything but are we not the ones paying his salary? He does represent us on a national level and his handling of This situation deserves some explanation. What would it hurt to say that lee has made some bad choices and his playing time is being impacted due to those decisions. If we arent paying his salary then who is?

I think it is an equipment issue with JL....they can't find him shoulder pads that fit

I feel that he owes me an explaination for several reasons. One reason is because I defended him against negatigers so staunchly, back when it seemed like everyone I knew wanted him tossed out in the street like a bum. I stuck to my guns, namely Miles' recruiting, having Frank Wilson on staff, and of course his winning ways. And don't get me wrong, after Alabama and JJ's dominance thereafter, I've been sticking up for Miles as well among other rabid fans for going with JJ. JJ gives the other defenses more to prepare for, period, and that is a distinct and clear advantage.

But I'm running out of optimism, Ole Miss was baffling. Georgia, blows my f*cking mind, now hear me out. If he's ineligible, he doesn't even come in to kneel it. So WTF? Seven three and outs in a row, a few because of Qb pressure, attributed to Georgia having a good line, and our OLine playing like a block of swiss cheese. But enough is enough, if the kid broke team rules, say it vaguely, if he backed into Miles' SVU, say it. I was thinking Lee might be ruled ineligible retroactively, but then why would Miles let him hand the ball off?

The second reason I think he owes me an explaination is because us whiteys have to stick together. J/k, I saw some moron post that earlier. The 2nd reason is not for me, but for QB recruits. If I'm a recruit, I could easily say, "The starter gets suspended, and the backup comes in, which could well be me at some point. I do well, have one bad game, and then no matter how good/bad the starter does from that point on, I will never get another chance to play." And to me, that is the main reason he owes people an explaination. If I'm that Qb recruit, I'd want to hear what happened from JL's mouth before I let Miles anywhere around my college career. For top tier talent, it probably doesn't matter, because they expect to start, but when that next quality depth guy like Lee is looking at Lsu, he might think about what happened, and to me, it's an unmeasurable drawback to Miles' silence.
