For those complaining about delays leaving parking lot after games

The Kentucky driving experience after the game trying to get away from campus was beyond ridiculous. Of course, we parked in a "parking garage" which is never a good thing to begin with but we were in a good get away spot. Unfortunately there were NO cops, NO contra-flow (traffic going both way), and the traffic lights were way too quick to go from green to red. Drunk college kids directing traffic was actually kind of funny. Took us 2 1/2 hours to get away from campus. Even the buses taking people from the stadium to downtown parking were caught in the cluster of madness. I will NEVER complain again about delays leaving after an LSU football game. We should be thankful after seeing things from another campus. WTF!

If I were the game going type I’d probably figure a way to comfortably get an hour of sleep in the car and let the traffic subside.

I never budged from the parking lot until a minimum of two hours had passed; just refused to get out in that madness..............

The whole place was a shite show. We couldn't get out of the stadium because of the limited access out of the rows and Kentucky fans wanted to watch the crowd storm the field. Then everyone had to go to two gates to exit. Small crappy stadium with limited access to restrooms.
We were in an RV lot by that garage. It was a mile from the stadium to park and people who lived around there use that lot as well, so we had a ton of students try to park in our tailgate which was in a designated lot by Kentucky.

It's almost as if, whenever a very large group of people all leave the same area at one time, there is going to be traffic.
Good luck trying to get many people here to comprehend this though.

Took Uber to and from Keeneland. Made it back to Louisville in under 90 mins. Gotta know where to park my friend.
