I also find it funny that if Wade’s teams don’t shoot the 3 as well as he’d like it’s because Wade coached them to miss and it’s his fault but when McMahon’s teams don’t shoot well this guy says we just need better shooters. It’s the same nonsense wrapped in a different package. False narratives that run into each other and outright make believe because he doesn’t know anything about the sport.

And it doesn’t matter, Wade is gone but to have alleged “fans” lie about the success of the program just denigrates the standards for the current and next guy. It’s poison being injected into the fan base by non fans. It’s no different than some Aggie fan coming over from the SEC board, lying about our team and having idiots believe it.

Are you retarded? Do you really not understand the difference between a championship and an award? You think Andre Ware is more important than Houston’s final 4 runs? You think Billy Cannon is a bigger star than Pistol Pete or Shaq? You’re either 15 years old or you’re loaded with tisms.

Ware's Heisman would be more important if it were 30 years ago But apparently you think players win these awards on their own and that they can catch their own passes and block.

This is not correct. Basketball is second.

Baseball is awesome and we had the GOAT with Bertman, but the program loses money and Alex Box is not a stadium that reflects an investment proportionate to one of the all time top 5 college baseball programs

I haven't chimed in on this Daniels thing...

Posters on this board wanted Daniels to go pro or transfer. Wanted him gone.

Daniels basically showed every single wide trailer park poster to STFU and did it again in the NFL in his first season.

Poster SMD isn't even a thing anymore.

Fandom and revenue are different. Baseball is #2 here for fandom.

However, LSU MBB still profits over $1.5mm/yr more than baseball - even when baseball wins the CWS.

If you believe awards are more important than titles that’s your prerogative.

Nope, but Wade being sacrificed for football was the right call

Wade would have had us competing for championships.

We would have been a baseball, football and basketball school all expecting to have a shot at final four in all three sports every year

It is funny how so many ppl here speak for Wade as if they just got off the phone with him. Also these same ppl always talk about Wade leaving McNeese and going to this job or that job. Last year they had locked into Louisville, when they never looked at him. Now y’all have him going to NC State or Indiana. When in reality in the 5 years at LSU no one was interested in hiring him.

Those of us who are frustrated with Will Wade supportersthink that you people need to accept that Will Wade is not coming back to LSU. That ship has sailed to get over it and move on. As for the current coach, Yes he does suck, but he’s not going anywhere this year. Next year, LSU needs to find a different coach, but it’s not going to be Will Wade.

This is the problem. Basketball should come before baseball. Any AD who doesn't see this is stupid.

Why can’t you be good at all 3? The idea there’s only enough money to be good at football and baseball, I think an exciting hire would bring money/ recruits. Up to the coaching staff to evaluate and make that money count.

As someone that has watched LSU play in three final fours, and a few other elite 8 games...I don't care about participation. I'll take a few bad years, with a final four run mixed in there. Sure, I'd like that every year like some of the blue bloods. But, LSU isn't that. Winning a game in the ncaa trny, while fun, isn't the same when you know that you don't have a real chance to make a final 4. That's what Wade was. Is the guy we have now capable? probably not...but I'm going to give him 1 more year with some funds to actually bring in some talented guards...that's what we have been lacking, especially PG. I get the impression that some in admin are asking some of you losers to continue to start Will Wade threads over and over, to bring in traffic. Getting old.

that's like YOUR opinion man. I am pretty damn proud of the history of LSU Baseball....and it is fun to watch kids that want to just play the game, vs the bs of all the NIL/ non-loyalty/thuggery that we see in basketball and football. Love football, but that has tarnished the game, or is in the process of tarnishing the game. Baseball is one of the few remaining sports that this crap hasn't taken over, YET.

Baseball's great and I love following the Tigers, but when did you ever hear of "June Madness?" Nobody really cares about college baseball nationally.

It is pretty damn comical to be honest. These kids think he is a blue blood coach. He isn't a bad coach....and if these big programs thought he could win big, they would be all over him. I always laugh when posters come on here and say "wade is going to be a problem for the SEC if he goes to "fill in the blank". He had a few good years buying kids, when let's face it, the SEC was not near what it is now. I felt like he had more talent, especially at guard, than most, and thus a little success. I never felt like he was a great bench coach. I am hoping LSU can get us an elite PG this year, and if we keep our nucleus of players, you will see a much more competitive team next year, with that alone.
