“NIL funding” is the “climate change”
of college sports. There’s only specious evidence to support it, but it’s vague enough to be used as a catch-all excuse. Sadly, it appears clear LSU has a fanbase that’s happy to accept whatever the AD feeds them without hint of skepticism

No amount of NIL money will help McMahon. His record is beyond terrible. Why would someone contribute to NIL money for McMahon when he is the verge of going 14-40 in his first 3 years of SEC play.

The simple answer to the OP is enough to keep our existing players, plus enough to secure 2 more very good players through the portal. Possibly a small forward with length and a point guard. If Reed comes back healthy I think we have enough in the front court.
