Orgeron’s plan was to accept below market salary and use the savings to attract rock star coordinators. Guaranteeing the contract was part of the deal. This is 100% Orgeron’s fault. But O should not be judged on this. He should be judged by what happens on the field. I see mixed signals thus far.
I think he handled this season well. Early failures were mostly because of appallingly little depth on the dline and acclimating to a new offense. Now, O has put the latter back in play for next year
Orgeron did great at recruiting, imo. The weak overall ranking is mainly due to the emphasis on linemen, who are often not rated high, and on overall low ratings for Louisiana players this year.
The biggest negative against Orgeron is that his is not a nuanced mind. Miles, for all his other faults, would have managed Canada (he just would not have had the sense to hire him).

Hell no. I'm not sold on O. I like the direction and give him credit for that. Waiting and watching. Do you get the difference?

This is some advice you really need to consider for yourself.

Yeah we will. I'm not saying they are true. But something is definitely there and it isn't something small. If so, just a lot of more unjustified pre-melting.
