but only 2.5 inches long

He is more mobile than Brennan. Less arm strength but better at reading defenses and accuracy. Lack of experience at game speed is the concern. Much more athletic than Danny was last year. More of a playmaker. Will need to see how he does under the lights.

He can make all the throws that NFL scouts look for.

Question for long-time Ranters:
Has it always been this way?
I thought it was hilarious. But in all seriousness I guess if he doesn't look good in practice that isn't good but I feel like we've heard reports of people looking great in practice for years now only to have it not pan out come game time. We just need to be patient and hopefully Joe will light it up this year. The first game will be telling and then after the Auburn game I think we should know what we have in Joe Burrow.

I have been to every scrimmage and some practices. Now close your eyes and imagine Danny Etling last year with not as strong an arm and you have Burrow. He’s big, strong and is reasonably accurate but Brennan is a far superior passer with better foot work, release and pocket presence. Burrow will start and Brennan will finish.

He will lead LSU to the sec crown and a playoff berth this year

How many scrimmages have you been to this year? Time will tell my brother. You will soon be a believer. Don’t hate the truth.

Same as you claim, my brother. SO do you get removed after the media portion?

I heard T Bob Hebert say essentialy the same thing on Off The Bench earlier this week.

Well that would at least give us Matt Flynn or Tom Hodson

Well if what you say is true than you would have to be blind not see the absolute difference between when Brennan throws the ball and when Burrow throws the ball. Brennan’s release is lightning fast and the ball is a laser in the air. Burrow is nowhere close. You can’t deny that or would not be truthful. That’s all I am saying and therefore superior talent will one day win out.

Joey Football until his first series, then tRant will be chanting for Brennan.

He’s like a god walking amongst mere mortals.

I hope he’s one of those guys that plays at a high level under pressure/in game situations.
Too many times we’ve seen QBs doing well in practice, then acting like a deer in the headlights on game day.

Matt Flynn says both qbs look good but said Brennan could be special once he develops physically

We should rename this site comedians rant since most of you think you are outstanding comedians. A guy asked a legitimate question, and is ridiculed for it.
