We need to do black cleats when we wear purple jerseys. Reminds me of the Viking's old Purple People Eater defense of the mid to late 1970's. That would look sharp.

Miami, Ohio loved the purple jerseys and storm in Tiger Stadium. Rain and purple = loss every time.

Or anyone who disagrees about wearing purple jerseys knows that LONG before the NCAA made LSU wear them at home for 11 yrs ('83-'94) WHITE had been the traditional home jersey! This started in 1958 when they won the National Championship and ran for 24 yrs through 1982 when the Gestapo NCAA stepped in. Fortunately, in 1995 the WHITE jerseys were brought back and the tradition was restored! And it's just a guess, but WHITE will likely continue to be the traditional home field jersey.

LSU fb should NEVER wear purple by choice. It should be breaking news when a team forces us to wear purple. Our gold hats, white shirts and gold pants are the best looking uniform in college fb.

No one can force LSU to put on any specific thing. Not the SEC, not the POTUS, not Bama, no one. If LSU decides to where purple it's because they chose to (over another color).

I kind of like the Purple jersey for non conference foes with the white pants and white helmet.

Nope. I disagree. Anyone who wants the purple jerseys back for home games is a youngester who doesn't remember LSU football prior to the time the NCAA made us wear dark jerseys at home. White jerseys at home is a much longer LSU tradition and was interrupted for a few years by that NCAA bullshite. I think LSU should never again wear anything but white jerseys. Never, ever, ever. No exceptions.
