Damn, I was led to believe that Nuss would’ve been killed behind our OL this year. Looks like he’s pretty damn good at navigating the pocket and making big throws. I can’t believe some people still don’t wanna see that guy slinging it all over the field and instead want the QB to hold onto the ball for 10 secs then run out of bounds 3 yards behind the LOS so he can save his completion %.

Jayden's biggest problem. He is never looking to throw on the move.

Nuss is always looking to throw. Problem is nuss will never be allowed to learn on the job under kelly.

Nuss needs reps to get better and learn to not turn the ball over. Kelly wants a qb that protects the ball and distributes it.

It's wild to see a QB throwing with anticipation ad to where a receiver is going to be.

Let’s not get carried away. He threw the ball up 50/50 75% of his throws.

Great video. In every instance, as he is being hurried, he kept his eyes down field.

but, but, he threw an interception rather than running the ball...again, against the #1 team in college football, with less than optimum preparation time.

We had two QBs throw for 200+ yards in a half against the #1 D in the nation. I wonder if that has ever happened before?

Wait! Are you telling me JD threw fit over 200 yards against that Georgia defense? But how could this be? That defense is so good and he’s so bad according to half the rant.

So all of these things can’t be true at the same time
A: Georgias defense is great
B: Nuss is automatically a great QB for throwing 200+ yards against them
C: JD is the worst QB ever for throwing for 200+ yards against them.

There’s a disconnect in logic there. Let’s see if some can figure it out.

How could anyone look at these throws and not want Nuss to be the QB going forward? It's a completely different offense when he's in the game. With more game experience and an elite RB in the backfield this is a top 10 offense.

Also works the opposite way.

I’m not shutting on Nuss here. Yeah, those were damn good passes. He played good last night. You just can’t take one half of a game and jump to the conclusions that is being jumped to in here. He may turn out to be great. I hope he does. But it’s gonna take more than one half a game of football for anyone to get a well thought out opinion on him. I’ve seen this type of thing play out before and it not end well. Any LSU fan older than 30 has.

Because we were behind and it was worth the risk to try and catch up.

He can coached up. He can learn to see the whole field.

You can't coach someone out of being scared to throw.
