We went and had a good time. Honestly ended up being respectful in the area we sat. LSU seemed to have a decent number on campus but didn’t feel like many in the stadium. When LSU scored you couldn’t hear anything at all. Their 65k fans were loud as hell. This game mattered a lot to them. Still annoying AF for them to have any satisfaction

Went with wife and kids…Nobody talked to us before the game, and we rushed out before the students left. No incidents.

Weren’t that many LSU fans in the stadium. Probably the fewest ever in Oxford. They folks were out for blood towards Kiff but weren’t bad to my group. Also it was very loud

Ole Miss does a great job of spreading visiting fans out around the stadium. I think the most they have concentrated in one location is around 1K. LSU allows about half of the visiting fans to sit together in the southeast corner. The other half are in the East upper deck. I wish that we'd take direction from Ole Miss in that regard. Bama does it too, as does Texas. We'd still be following the SEC mandates that a certain number of visiting fans have to be seated in the lower level, but the league doesn't require all of those seats to be located in one spot.

I gotta we were there for 4 days and encountered nothing but hospitality and we went all through the grove and the circle. It was a great trip

LSU fans used to show up in huge numbers in Oxford and also Tuscaloosa/Birmingham back in the day. It's all just too expensive now.

LSU sold out it's ticket allotment, so there were at least 6-7K LSU fans in the stadium. They were just spread out so they didn't have a big presence.

Their fans were jacked up for sure. They wanted it baaaad. There were plenty of "bad" fans encountered, but no more than what I'd expect playing any other sec team, really. For every 3 fans trying to stir up shite on the walk back there was another being apologetic.
I honestly had a chuckle on the walk back because there were a lot of fans who sounded like the flip side of the ole miss milk girl. "I HATE LSUUUUUU.!!!" but with a rage filled happiness instead of dispair. It was bizarre.
Someone seriously needs to turn their damn speakers down. The fans in the stadium were respectably loud but not impressively so. The speakers just about blew my ears out all game though.

Yet the rant all week long was saying how terrible it would be. Trying to convince a father not to make the trip with his son.

I was there yesterday. Didn't encounter or witness any incidents from any Ole Miss fans. Actually had quite a few respectful conversations with several of them. This was my 6th time attending the LSU trip to Oxford. Haven't had issues on any of them.
Yesterday was the easiest postgame traffic I've probably ever had. Probably because all their fans stayed in the stadium to celebrate their Super Bowl victory.
I also learned that Lane is actually Kiffin's middle name. They kept chanting his full name over & over throughout the game. Didn't realize his first name started with an F.

Me the wife and another couple went. Spent the day between the circle, the grove and over an hour in the student union. Nothing but friendly fans until we got into the stadium. We were right behind the band. Students heckled us a little and got a little beer shower at the end. But overall zero chance it was unsafe or threatening.
We are in our late 30s early 40s so we don’t exactly look like we’re there to fight.

For anyone that goes back in two years I highly recommend parking in one of the shuttle lots. SOC, NWCC, or Oxford High School. We parked in the SOC lot. Was a really nice parking garage and definitely safe. Shuttles were charter buses. Didn’t hit any traffic on the way in or out I guess bc of the location right next to Hwy 278. Bus drop off/pickup was right outside the stadium. Stayed in Tupelo, a little out the way, but to avoid sitting in traffic I would definitely do it again

This is the answer.
Parked at Oxford high school. Paid $100 for all 4 of us. Waited 20-25 minutes for a bus and got dropped off at the stadium. After the game we walked out, got on the bus and when it was full we headed out. Hour and an half after game ended were back in Grenada where we stayed.
