Wal Mart cashiers make mistakes, too, and sometimes they fail to scan items.
You can bet Walmart has studies to show the projected error rate by customers self scanning. They know it happens and have concluded it is not an unprofitable procedure .
Nobody here seems to know much about the surrounding circumstances which might be consistent with intent to steal, as opposed to a mistake, but plenty of folks seem willing to conclude he acted with criminal intent,.
Some comments suggest that this conclusion is fortified by the fact that the young man is black, a football player or may have lived in trailer part at one point in his life...

What i like is the mental gymnastics going on in this thread trying to justify him being a thief. Period. Justify it all you want.

Funny how a lot of the younger generation think these days. There were plenty of young men from all socio and economical backgrounds who did not not steal and served their country honorably. Being a scholarship athlete is a privilege.

LSU isn’t a military school. These dudes don’t sign contracts with the US military. Your decision to do so has nothing to do with Bradford
