Canada coached against him and lost.

Aranda even bought a house from him.

What was Eaux's connection to Canada?

Looking for a job? I won’t pay for relocation. Just going to let you know up front.

the two teams that were good? he beat Stanford at USC and some terrible teams.

Well hell. He won more games than he lost. But yeah, that's horrible that he beat terrible teams. If he had only lost to them and only beat the great teams then he would have really been doing something, huh?

If you were a top tier, big name coach, would you take the job knowing your predecessor was given only one year to turn things around? I think not.

O didn't walk into a rebuild. LSU has had 4 straight top 10 recruiting classes, almost assuredly one of the ten most talented teams in CFB.

So Orgeron can't make up his mind on his own? Always someone else's fault

So asking one of the best DC's in the country who happens to be the associate head coach is a bad thing? He should just decide on his own with no input from people he thinks are the best at their jobs?

It means Canada is Orgeron's choice, period. It's not Aranda's choice because Aranda can't choose.

Trick question. Alleva is incapable of hiring a top tier coach.

You must have missed the part about the #2 ranked recruiter for the 2016 class and an O-line coach who wears a Super Bowl ring. If that's his buddies, so be it. Which one would you fire right now since they are all buddies?

No it was a good thing. It shows wisdom to lean on your assistants for counsel. But you don't get to pin it on them when it doesn't work out.
