If he cheated or not it makes no sense to not let him coach. If it eventually comes out that he cheated LSUs wins will be vacated regardless so you should just let him coach until everything comes out. It’s only hurting LSU by not letting him coach if it comes back that he did nothing wrong, and as said before if it did come back that he did something wrong it will be the same outcome with vacated wins.

"This matter" is a Yahoo article. (I think that LSU should be required at the very least to have listened to the tapes) .. Do you think coaches need to respond to EVERY internet article out there ? ( or just some of them and if so which ones ) .. that is the can of worms LSU has opened.. What is next ? will they have to respond to TD posts ? .. The more I think about it LSU is out of line. WW should be coaching until LSU has some direct evidence from some kind of authority (not yahoo) or evidence from some investigation LSU initiated.. to suspend a coach over an internet article seems absurd

So your entire thesis is undone by one major thing. If every coach in premier college basketball is paying players, and the expectation was for Wade to compete with these programs, the undisclosed part of Wade's job was to pay players.
Also, LSU has been paying players before Wade got there, what makes you think he wasn't connected to the network of guys that mediate this the moment he came on board? Alleva is privileged to be in his position because he has the option to distance himself from someone who now has negative press.
The thing I find inexcusable is for Alleva to throw his guy under the bus for doing something that Alleva knew was going on. The thing that sickens me the most is the true colors of this coward come out the moment there is some national heat. We have an AD who is a cuck that refuses to sack up and stop playing second fiddle for once.

And here is the other very understated point that needs to be shouted from the mountain tops. Not only did Alleva know what Wade was doing (allegedly), but he probably was fine with it....until the article came out then it was a complete shock to him...LOL. Please.
