He only had one run, but he made a 20 yard scramble look pretty effortless. Definitely didn’t look like the added weight was slowing him down at all.

I like to look at body changes this time of year
Lacy has lost some good weight
Same with Noah Cain & nabers looks slimmer too.
Freshmen Weeks has added some good weight it looks like.
Some of the DL look like monsters. The TX transfer looks ready to play.

Oh yeah, that guy. Doesn't he have a history with corch Kelly or something?? Played for him before? shite, I think this is like his 6th or 7th yr in college?? If anything he'd bring good leadership to the team in the locker room and all.

Yes he originally committed to ND and enrolled then transferred after freshman year IIRC

He looked more poised, more in tune with the WRs, and the offense. Didn't need to be quick, half the field was open and he ran for about 20 yds.
He looked like a Veteran QB. He was concentrating on running the play, not escaping and running.
The difference in weight was not noticeable on his frame. He still appears thin to me.

I was more impressed that we threw intermediate routes over the middle fairly successfully
