wut does this even mean? They wont be asked to tackle a running back?

I think he means that in Chavis' scheme the four down lineman keep the blockers off the LBs. the LBs don't need to be brutes; they just need to be fast, agile, and mean. 205 lbs works just fine for lbs in Chavis' defense, except for the MLB. I think he's right. Tahj and Debo are perfect for this D!

I'm sorry but if I'm the coach of this team and I have a 6'8" player on my team then I'm moving him to DE. Think of all the balls he would knock down. Also since he's a QB he would be able to tell when other QBs are doing fakes and know where they will be throwing.

Get him on defense!

If Clement is at 265 that is to heavy for him. He needs to play around 245/250.

Um... No. ...But I wouldn't mind him splitting out as a wide receiver in goal line situations against 5'9 corners

That actually would be interesting to see how a team responds to that. Could open up a toss sweep to the other side if they rush to double team him. Or if he's just standing there towering over one guy, toss up a jump ball for him. I like the idea.

there is NO WAY he can play at that weight... he either needs to drop 7 pounds or add 3 to compete in the SEC

and that #33 on defense that Miles mentioned as a secret weapon or whatever is Vincent Leduff.... big and fast.... actually he runs track for LSU, but i guess Miles saw his size and figured why not give him a shot....

I live about 18 miles from Athens HI school. Rivers is every bit of 6'8 but I do agree he needs to put on about 20 more pounds.

i'm not really sure what you're getting at, but until you have ANY coaching experience, why don't you just leave players and what their playing weight should be up to the coaching staff

I completely disagree. I actually like him better at 265 than what you recommend.

Speed is not part of his game. His main contribution, which is under-appreciated, is his blocking. So getting bigger and stronger should be a boon here.

After the catch, you look for Clement to be physical & tough to tackle, not a burner. So again I don't see it as a hindrance.
