I don't understand Yahoo Sports' witch hunt obsession with LSU. I thought it was just a personal vendetta against Wade but apparently it's the entire school. I guess they'll be "investigating" the baseball program next.

Suing is not a good idea. Opens up Wade to a deposition.

No one takes these three serious. Forde has been desperate since ESPN cut ties with him.

I remember when this all started and some poster on here came in and said this went deep into Tiger athletics and he hoped it would never come out. Does anybody else remember reading that?

I don't know that I read it here, but sometime late in the football season, somebody I know told me there was some bad stuff coming out, tied to OLOL and LSU. I think it was very shortly after the OLOL Foundation scandal came to light.

I hope this will be the worst of it, but not real confident it is.

During the Miles Era for a player that’s been gone for a few years now? Better go after Bama as well since former bama o lineman DJ Fluker admitted to receiving extra benefits a few years back.

So ...

Funes steals money from LSU by funneling it through parents of athletes whom he got close to. They’d get a cut as part of keeping them quiet.

And because LSU had money stolen from them - these Yahoo guys think LSU is complicit - horse hockey

Wtf a liberal fricking company like Yahoo shitting on our LSU brand. You notice how all this stuff comes up when we are making head waves in basketball and this upcoming season in football. How long ago did Vadal play here? These Yahoo guys have an agenda and I am sure there are other programs out there that want LSU to be the scapegoat for all the cheating that occurs in the two biggest money making sports of college athletics. Any reporter could dig up dirt on these colleges if they looked hard enough but wtf is up with them going after LSU? frick Yahoo and their sports guys.

These three fricktards again. Old news that they are trying to sensationalize. They even added that FMOL "Supports Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital". Not the other hospitals, just the "Children's" hospital to add shock value that these evil LSU henchmen are stealing money from sick babies.

The only way LSU gets in trouble is if someone could prove that the money was willingly given to the foundation for the sole purpose of paying parents of (prospective) players. Even then, the atheletic department gets nothing if neither they nor Vadal knew anything about it( remember Cam Newton?) but whoever made the transfer of money from LSU to OLOL foundation would be in a bit of trouble.

It’s beyond the statute of limitations that the NCAA has stated in their own policies on Charging. If the ncaa comes After LSU despite that, and ignores the DJ Fluker case which happened a year after this.. would be par for the course and proves that bama has immunity as long as Saban is in Tuscaloosa
