You big bunch of bitches are what is wrong with this fricking state! You have to sit around and wait for the damn GOVERNOR to tell you when to leave. DUMBASSES.

I don't know where you are getting this but this is more reason to say the game shouldn't go on. People don't have to wait for the governor to call shite in evacuation and people will leave earlier! Hence SATURDAY DURING THE DAY.... why the game shouldn't go on. Evacuation doesn't begin when the governor says it does and jindal knows that.

IF PEOPLE LEAVE TOO EARLY AND NOTHING HAPPENS... GUES WHAT ? NO EVACUATION AT ALL FOR THE NEXT ONE. JUST LIKE WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN IN HOUSTON. AFTER THE RITA EVACUATIONS AND THAT BIG MESS, PEOPLE AIN'T GOING NOWHERE AND KAPOW !!!

ambulance services? police services?

Are you serious? Are you going to have these guys on the side of the road for 3 days?

There is no reason to cancel this yet. Seriously. This is a business like any other. Plans are being made like any other.

Are you also in favor of closing all businesses south and east of B.R. for a hurricane that should end up south and east of B.R.? The point is you can't call an evacuation or shut down yet because you don't know who should leave, when they should leave or where they should go. Sit tight. Make some decisions Sunday or Monday when you have a handle on this.

If you don't want to fight the traffic, then don't evacuate. The entire country can not shut down because people that live right on the coast need to evacuate. Why don't they evacuate today?

Here's a thought, we can play the game, and still evacuate people. The storm is 4 days out at this point. I'm sorry if the evacuating people are inconvienenced by some traffic. But if they hit traffic on Saturday evening, they'll sure as heck be out of harm's way come early Tuesday morning.

People may not choose to wait for the mass chaos to protect their family especially those living in coastal parishes. Effects of the storm will most likely begin probably late monday. Whatever you deem the appropriate time to evacuate isn't a rule. We shouldn't inhibit people's abilities to get out safer and quicker if we can help it.

Self righteous BR knuckle heads like you who feel superior to others and don't understand what people have to go through with these storms make the norm of the new orleanian look courteous.

I have no problem evacuating everytime and the storm never hitting me. Thats a blessing, not a curse. People from LA have learned a tough lesson about hurricanes 3 years ago. Many of past stupid thoughts are not the same anymore.

ambulance services? police services? All these type of services are going to be used for a football game instead of a state emergency. Come on.

How many ambulances is on campus? 3? At most?

Police is more of an issue, but again, there is no direct overlap.

Maybe a concern about them not getting enough sleep?

Well then it appears that captain freak out is siding with our expert govenor. All i'm saying is if jindal feels that the game shouldn't go on, then i'll agree with his decision. If jindal feels we'll be okay, i'll then trust him to. But i will not be upset if jindal feels its just too risky.

Hurricanes are not a new development. This is a total overreaction.
