Ahh ok that makes sense.. I have never seen it off that much. Was the change due to Gustav.. Like I said it was cook but the PA announcer was trying to tell the story of the national championship which nobody could hear.

Is it cool yea. But Honestly at the very first LSU football game after the NC I would really rather hear about the NC instead of a turbine engine.

Didn't get that B-2 from the Navy...that was from the good ole USAF, thank you very much!
Also, the Alabama flyover was a KC-135 (tanker). Couldn't tell what type of fighter it was being flanked by, possibly F-15s. Oh, also courtesy of your United States Air Force.

LSU should have gotten the F-22's that they stationed at the navy base in belle chasse... i believe they just flew like 6 of them in a week or so ago

Or from Tyndall AFB where I am...it's not that far...again, USAF. I'm a proud retiree, what can I say?
I feel very spoiled to watch the F-22s and F-15 take off everyday. Keeps me humble and reminds me that Jet Noise is the Sound of Freedom.

Those looked like F-18 Hornets from the USN. They are pretty frickin' loud!
