Well Florida does have by far the best overall athletic department in the SEC by far, so it makes sense

I do hate them. But Ole Miss is more of a natural rival. It goes beyond sports with them. Our alumni and fans interact often. Texas A&M is soon to take that place though.
A&M and LSU people see each other in higher numbers more than any other fan base I believe. Mostly due to how large the A&M following is. They’re everywhere man.

Tulane is and always has been a joke. They have never been a rival to me. I have never given them a second thought. It is an insult to LSU to call them a rival.

My most hated team in the SEC. maybe country.
And Gainesville and their fans are such fricking trash. There is no redeeming quality about that school or city.

too young to remember but TULANE was the # 1 rival for a long time then Ole Miss.
years later FL was the team to beat and then Bama took over that position.
aTm was a fun and exciting rivalry until it was put to death.

Bama, Ole Miss, Auburn, and Florida are clearly LSU’s top four rivals.

Not to mention they're our closest rival when it comes to humidity and sweltering heat. And Louisiana has the largest alligator population so they kind of stole our thunder with their mascot too. Fuuuuck dem!

I like the state of Florida. Has always had a magical feel to it. The people that inhabit the state are another issue.
