Florida is our true overall SEC rival

Say what you want about Ole Miss and Bama being our rivals, but Florida is the only school that challenges us in the big 3, Football, Basketball, Baseball, and even throw in Softball, on an annual basis. No other school in the SEC challenges us in all sports like they do. And vice versa for Florida. They have owned Georgia and Tennessee in the past however many years. We pose the biggest threat to them in all sports.

Ole miss is too shitty at all things not baseball to be our rival. I agree with your statement, we match up with Florida well in every sport.

I hate Florida the most. Bar none. Auburn is likely second.

OP is right you know. Bama, Auburn, Ole Miss all have their spots but it matters none the sport we always seem to have to go through Florida. I found myself really loathing them last night. I hate that I didn't know I had for them. Then nightmares of the final four and tebow started to surface. Then recently they beat us in the cws finals. frick Florida

i've hated florida since '88 when Richard fain picked off hodson for 6 and I had to meet my mother's new boyfriend. as florida was running out the clock and hodson's Heisman campaign was going out the window, my mother's new boyfriend walked in. I wasn't in a good mood. I shook his hand and said "hello". he proceeded to tell me that I "shouldn't let my emotions be controlled by a sporting event."

Rivals beat each other regardless of how their seasons are going. We’ve beaten Florida when they’ve had better teams than us too

I hate losing to Florida more than losing to any other team including Alabama. Losing to Florida sucks and I absolutely hate them more than anyone else. Both universities don’t really like each other and it’s honestly one of the best athletic rivalries in the entire conference. No loss hurt more in football this past season than losing to Florida just because how much I hate them. I was absolutely devastated when we lost to them in baseball in the CWS finals and the loss to them last night in basketball was definitely the most devastating loss we’ve had all year long. frick Florida and their trashy arse fans
