Florida fans are especially good at ridiculing a schools traditions. No other fans do this from my experience. (We always sit by the visiting fans). Every time UF comes here, their fans are yelling insults mocking LSU's traditions to the LSU fans. From Tiger Stadium, the Golden Band, etc. - they don't hold back.

We had a nice critique last night at how bad Tiger Stadium sucks, how overrated it is, - how its stupid we are for enjoying our band (pregame), how are alma mater sucks compared to theirs, etc.

I could see alot of older LSU fans getting irritated with it. I told a few people just to ignore them because thats just how most UF people are.

(There were some nice UF fans sitting directly behind us - they were older and have been UF fans long before Spurrier built them into a great program)

You're at a very intense football game with two very intense fan bases. I'm not saying it should happen, cause obviously it shouldn't, but you know it's gonna happen. Don't get me wrong, I woulda been pissed too, but I'm not gonna get into a fight with a guy over it unless he tries to physically harm me.

its not soo much the north florida rednecks. its the elitist central and south florida snobs I have an issue with and those are the ones that don't respect shite about lsu.

But I didn't get into a physical altercation. I am taking my anger out via message board!

Well except for that one little remark I said but that wasn't much. She seemed to bask in the fact that was trashy as her cute tramp stamp was made clearly visible as she walked away.

Oh I'm sure they were awful. And I'm taking shite now but if I woulda been there and drinking, who knows what I woulda said I just don't wanna get into it with someone and go to jail cause my team lost.

Saw alot of taunting after the game too. this one sorority chick in her stupid orange, saggy arse, summer dress got infront of my car near the chimes chomping at us with her arms....i simply reminded her that she was in the road-way by removing my foot from the brake.... ...she stopped.

My biggest problem was not with any Gator fan, but with an LSU fan walking out of the stadium chanting "Bye, Bye Miles" over and over again. I asked him why would you want to have a man who has won so many games as LSU's head coach since taking over the program, including a NC? I then asked him how many games has he ever won? What an asshat! We are halfway through this season and there is much football to be played. Most of us picked us to go 9-3 or 10-2, both of which we are capable of acheiving. We need to circle the wagons and hope our offense can find itself with a freshman at QB. (He has only 8 starts under his belt at this point in his career.) Defense deserved better last night. Take away the TD pass that should have been disallowed and we have a 6-3 ballgame. Remember we lost to these same guys last year by 30 points and gave up 51. We are much improved despite our offensive woes. We will get better. Geaux Tigers!
