I’ve said it a million times and it’s obvious to anyone that gives a shite, but Hurd’s luck on batted balls is fricking insane. He’s doing to go down with 5 earned runs through 4.2 even though he once again pitched much better than that.

This team is not repeating. It took two miracle plays to win it all last year with Morgan’s play and pearson’s catch. And that was with having two multigenerational players in crews and skenes and a great supporting cast. This team doesn’t have close to that.

We don’t really suck, we just don’t have a lot of experience. It makes the big moments seem even bigger than they are, hence the issues with 2 outs both offensively and defensively. We just don’t have that mental fortitude yet. We will be much better by regional play, but our schedule is just so front loaded there is no way we host.
