Who believed the forward pass was a gimmick to be used as a last resort. That experience left me permanently scarred with Les Derangement Syndrome.

We have returned once again to a coach who would be so risk averse as to play a QB who sees the forward pass as a last resort rather than said coach give a chance to an accomplished passer who might throw an interception.

Please pass the hemlock

What argument can be made for JD5 unless LSU concedes the passing game? I see none as he has failed at it ALL YEAR LONG.

He is guaranteed to fail Saturday. Why not make a change.

So, that's not true.

CBK may be conservative, but he doesn't use the pass game as a last resort.

Les has the philosophy that there's 3 things that happen when you pass the ball, and 2 of them are bad.

We certainly did despite not being prepared to start almost every game against a team with a pulse except AL.

20 years ago we had NTP and suffered a last minute meltdown against R-Kansas.

If I recall, we beat Bama on a do-or-die two point conversion roll out pass play.

Flashback to August 2014, a fricking moron signs up for TD, and we are all dumber for it.

I agree. Les didn't have a player named Mettenberger who threw for 5700+ yards, completed 407 passes for a 61% completion average. That was all an illusion.

anomaly and outlier without jimbo and crowton as OC. you know better. you know les ran an archaic predictable style limiting the field he used in runs and passes.
