right. if it is cover 2 man under or cover 2 zone you still beat that throwing underneath. beat yiuyr man or go to a hole in zone.

make safeties play up then counter. shite you can still beat cover 2 with a post or corner route also.

Which is why I said it’s hard for any conflict defender. You are being contradictory lol.

You’re misunderstanding me. The RPO is hard to defend. Reading keys to know to fit pass or run is easy.

Could we see more Tory Carter this game? 250# fullback cracking heads of blitzers . I know under our new system a fullback is basically obsolete but I know he can block and catch out of the backfield. Would like to see the guy play a little more.

This offense was installed to get the ball out quickly and to create opportunities for our athletes in space. Burrow is the key. If he can continue to place passes in coverage, hitting our receivers in stride, then pressure from their front four is effectively neutralized. If Burrow must hang in the pocket to go through progressions, this will be a close game.

To me, the defenses of Florida, Georgia, and Alabama are the reason Joe Brady is at LSU. Burrow has shown that he can throw receivers open, anticipating windows before the receivers know the ball is in the air. That’s what this offense looks like at its best and what I expect to happen against any legitimate pass rush. Florida better rush only four or Burrow will exploit mismatches on blitzes. This is a very different offense and passing scheme than last season.

Run the ball to provide balance, to keep defenses honest, and to protect leads by running time off the clock. This game, we should see our offense in full throttle. Not because Florida doesn’t have a top defense, but because they do.

This is not a Les Miles offense. Those days are long gone.

Not weird. We run a different offense this year so we have different adjustments to make against good defenses.

Take the underneath passes to CEH/Emery and Moss, they will be there. JB needs to have time to read the DEF and take what they give us. If we can suck them up to the LOS, the deeper crossing and curl routes will be there. Come out firing Tigers. Firing on all cylinders and hang a quick TD on these guys. Put them on their heels from the opening snap. Make them question what they are doing, what they prepared to do, and how they can adjust. Hammer down!

Man a lot of people must not watch football with all those up votes. Texas rarely rushed just 4. That’s not their style. Same as Florida. OP was saying if Florida chooses to rush 4 and gets pressure what do we do. Continue on sounding like an idiot though.
