Has LSU’s chances to make CFP at only 64% after yesterday’s events. It also drops to 17% with a loss to UGA. Didn’t they have our chances higher before we beat TAMU?

Meanwhile, Clemson and OSU are at 93% and 86%.

538 CFP

538 also projected Hillary to beat Trump by 10 points.

Shows what a joke 538 is. LSU is in even with a loss next week.

So if LSU were to lose to Georgia, who would jump us? There isn't a one loss team out there that has anything close to LSU's resume. I think we have already punched the ticket.

Don’t know why this is getting downvotes. Just pointing it out as it’s been discussed before. Discrediting this because it projected Hilary to win is dumb, especially since she won the popular vote by 3 mill.

What does the popular vote have to do with a presidential election? Are these clowns even looking at the right things?

part of this is because they know we're playing an actual good football team this week. the other part is because they're dumb - LSU still gets in with a close loss to Georgia, and there ain't a chance in hell they blow us out

They project based on popular vote, not electoral, which is clearly dumb.

Either way, definitely not saying I agree with their projections. I think they’re crazy and LSU would get in with a loss to UGA. Just thought it was worth keeping track of.

It's lower than Clem and OSU because we don't play a shite team to win our conference, and because an LSU loss brings an extra team to the table in UGA, while UVA and Wiscy are out no matter what.

I think we're in even with a loss, though I'd prefer to never find out.

Silver was off on the state by state polls as well.

If you're a pollster and you're predicting a presidential result based on popular vote then you're an idiot.

I want to believe this, but I’m not sure. It depends on how much weight they give to conference championships.

Anything that doesn't say LSU is the best team is immediately downvoted.

Didn’t factor “Russian interference” into his formula.

Resumes aren't the top consideration this year. The committee has been very open that they are relying heavily on the eye test. If LSU loses by more than a field goal and Oklahoma blows the doors off of Baylor or Utah blows the doors off of Oregon, then there's a healthy chance either of them jump LSU to the four spot.

Your being delusional if you can't see that. For LSU to get in with a loss, it needs to be a close loss and Oklahoma and Utah both need to look pedestrian in their wins.

Because people are stupid and don’t understand statistics or predictions. The 2016 election they had Trump with 30% chance to win which is a decent chance but most people act like 70% chance to win is the same as 99.999%

Funny also how they win moan and complain about the committee and wanting to get the humans out of it, then they moan and complain about the computers and models have Ohio St #1

This is probably a result of us having to play a real team next week whereas Clemson plays the little sisters of the poor and Ohio state plays a team they already beat by 38 or something.
