Friday night dinner you’ll do great at The Chimes, Mike Anderson’s, Parrains or Acme Oyster. Make bloody’s for Sat morning and go travel the campus tailgating for as long as you can. So sorry it’s not a night game! It would be off the hook after we beat Auburn this Saturday. Enjoy!

Check out WalkOns at some point. I think it will be better rafter the game with live DJ inside and band outside. The Chimes on Highland has good food with a Cajun kick to it. It’s on Highland and Walk Ons is in the opposite direction but walking distance from the stadium.
Downtown is an option as well along with tigerland bars like Fred’s

That's where we are. 642. First row. Probably could have been in 402-404, but we are bringing our full band with us. So, they'll take up a good portion of 404

I'll be up high too. I'm glad we are bringing our entire band-it enhances the atmosphere and pageantry imo-but it really did eat into our allotment down low. Should be a lot of Tennessee fans there, we've all been wanting to see Tiger Stadium for ourselves ever since this game was announced. Us being in the top 10 again finally just enhances the ticket demand for Tennessee fans. There will be 10/15k Vols there easily. Bummed about the kickoff time though.

Obviously not a LSU fan, but I imagine the vibes will be relatively chill and accepting amongst both fanbases. Two fanbases of storied SEC programs that love the sport of college football. We rarely get to play each other and we share common enemies within the conference. Plus on the recruiting front generally speaking we don't even compete for the same prospects. We both fish in different waters. A strong LSU benefits Tennessee since y'all play Florida and Alabama every year.

I'm sure it'll be passionate on both sides once the ball kicks and bullets start flying. But in my experience with LSU fans in Knoxville, Tennessee and LSU fans get along very amicably. Swamp coonasses and hillbilly mountain folks have a lot in common. It's SEC football: just have fun and be a good sport and everyone will be just fine.

Watch out for the Piss Balloons. That should be the 1st thing you should do. LSU will be sore losers and try to pick a fight with you if your not careful. Also don’t go out after dark in Baton Rouge unless your taking your own personal armed security or wearing body armor.

Stay in New Orleans. Get trashed at Pat O’s Friday night. Sleep through the game Saturday morning

Be in your seat a little early. You dont want to miss tigerband pre-game/salute to four corners of stadium. Plus maybe im different than most but I actually enjoy watching players warm up. You really get a sense of how athletic they are with the casual ease they do certain things.

As for the day as a whole be prepared to walk a long way and kill some time if youndont have a specific tailgate party to be at. Likewise, dont make any plans after the game. It’ll take a while to get off campus.

Edit: im just realizing you are a tennessee fan. So maybe you wouldnt be as jacked up over tigerband pre-game, but instand by the recommendation regardless.

As for food, others are correct… only count on this friday night or dinner (long after game) Saturday night. For baton rouge near campus i recommend mike andersons or chimes way more than walkons. Chimes is the dive bar right on campus. Food is good too. The food at mike andersons in my humble opinion is ever so slightly better than chimes.

And for the love of god, dont go north of government street

You should definitely eat at the Chimes since it's right off campus.

All the good stuff is in North BR.
Only come south of Florida Blvd. for the game.
