That being said, if LSU loses 2 of 3 to this Florida State team, Pawl needs to go.
Yeah, let's fire a coach after making it to the sweet sixteen (nine out of the thirteen years he's been here)! You people are absurd.

So glad making the super regional is the new LSU baseball standard....win or mostly lose........I hate LSU baseball fans
Posted on 6/8/19 at 11:21 pm to SelaTiger
You can't win them all, but you should win when you are up 4-0 and no hitting the other team going into the 6th inning.
This isn't one of those losses you just blow off. And by that, I am not saying LSU can't come back and win the series, but you just don't sweep this under the rug and say "no big deal". LSU has had some epic losses this season, and it's very frustrating. It's also frustrating that Cole Henry keeps having a sore arm. Maybe it's a legitimate problem for him, but I am beginning to wonder if he isn't one of those people who just thinks the worst when he feels any kind of discomfort. I don't know what to think about that.

He was playing for a national title less than two years ago. You honestly think it’s impossible for him to win another one? You people are insane.

Yes this Fla St team is below average . Would add salt if this bunch beats you.

TigerinKorea......he's one won in a decade and has a team with zero left handed pitchers and a guy starting that couldn't start most 12 year old travel teams. Yeah us realistic people are the worst

I’m not happy with our play today or much of this season. But I’m not gonna give up. I’ll make a bet with you and the OP: if we lose Sunday or Monday, you can start a thread and call me out. I’ll acknowledge that you were correct. But if we win this Super Regional, then you won’t watch the CWS. If we win, you won’t celebrate. If any talks to you about it, then you’ll say that you gave up today. OK?

I'll take that bet.....do you baseball lovers actually watch the games?? We literally threw our best pitchers....yes all of them.....TODAY. We have guys that can't touch second base or know when to go or not. FSU should have shown everyone that watched the game what a well coached team does. LSU had huoe and home field....FSU had the better approach......please remind me who won the game???

I know FSU won and only used 1 pitcher from the bullpen; actually their CF. And we’re starting a freshman against a Soph who will probably be a 1st round pick next year. We burned 1 RP, and used 3 others. Bad approach at bat and base-running mistakes. I saw all that. A lot going against us at this point. I’m just not giving up on these Tigers.
You’re on.
You’re on.

Should’ve stayed a listener! Actually are you really a listener? because you just started a thread that has already been started many times since the end of the game.
Should be started more. LSU shat the bed here. Instead of being upset about the game, people lash out at posters telling the truth.
FSU is now in the driver's seat for no reason.

You know throwing that little round baseball within that invisible strike zone and doing it on a consistent basis is really hard. Now try hitting that darned thing when it's coming at you at 95 - 97 mph. Did I mention trying to catch that tiny baseball in a full blazing sun? I mean did you guys see Cabrera's running catch at full gallup yesterday? Dang!
I love baseball. LSU will be okay.

And again, played for one two years ago, as well as going to Omaha numerous times prior. You didn't answer my question the previous time. Is it impossible for him to win another? If you are realistic, you will answer "no". Like it or not, LSU is in contention nearly every year. Who else would you hire that does the same thing?

The irony.

LSU blew a 4 run lead (which should have been probably an 8 run lead) to the worst Florida State team in 40 years. Let’s not sugarcoat it, that loss was extremely tough to pull off. Sure Cabrera made a nice play, but that doesn’t make up for the 80 or 90 shite plays they made during the game. That reliever FSU threw in the 8th and 9th inning threw about 6 legitimate strikes out of 30 pitches and all of our guys were swinging at garbage pitches and bailing him out. We could’ve named our score in either inning. Guy would’ve walked almost everyone if we simply would’ve had D+ plate discipline instead of F- plate discipline.
Disgusting loss. Pawl is toast if that happens again. FSU would’ve been the 12th best team in the SEC this season. I don’t care that they pummeled Georgia. This is LSU baseball. We are supposed to be better than this shite. Pawl is getting outfoxed by a 96 year old that would rather be playing bingo right now and some of you are somehow okay with it lol.

The pitching wasn’t great. But the bats were horrible.... I have never seen a team just watch pitch after pitch go by them without even swinging.... it’s pathetic.
Posted on 6/9/19 at 5:58 am to Tigersonfire
They will lose two of two and the fans will still line up and let the Fla state team run around the stadium and give High fives to all the LSU fans as a great send off and in the post game press conference they will ask Fla State, “what did you think of the environment at the box?” Response should be “it was better than the talent on the baseball team”!

How many years has Martin coached? How many championships?
Hess is gonna Hess. Good-bad, good-bad! We got the bad yesterday.

It was immediately evident he was not starter material and he was a tremendous closer as a freshman though..
Hess has always been a guy that had great stuff but struggled with his command and the mental part of the game. These two things can be disguised better coming in as a reliever but has never changed.
Posted on 6/9/19 at 7:31 am to djrunner
I would say that Hess has been worse since we moved him back to the bullpen. He has to be leading the nation in homers surrendered since moving back to a reliever.
