I was wondering about our new field goal kicker. That hasn't been any issue the last few years.

Now wait a minute that defensive line is supposed to get that pressure so the CB's don't get worked

I watched the last few minutes of BK's post-scrimmage presser. He said yesterday the defense got a couple red zone Int's. So it's ebbs and flows, mane. Ebbs and flows.

That is my greatest O (and Les) criticism. How many classes were signed with NO actual center

QB's learned to get the ball out quicker against good lines

30+ a game would make this season a whole lot less stressful.

I'm just kidding around. We're just talking about practice and you know overreactions will be amazing here

And that's EXACTLY what we should all hope for! I was worried our D would totally dominate the O just about every scrimmage. I think our D can be that good!

College OL prospects rarely play C exclusively in high school. Most guys are moved to the position

It’s good to know that whoever wins the QB battle, they’ll have earned it and both candidates are starting caliber.

We don’t have to *hope* the de facto starter is good just because he’s the only startable QB on the roster.

With no center you have no offense. He touches the ball on every play. This is a bigger problem than qb.

Here's a report from Dylan Sanders former student reporter (just moved to 247 and was at practice today)

quote:

Nussmeier looked good too, had more mistakes in my opinion. I think both will probably play this year, but Daniels looks in line to play week 1 right now.I think Daniels looks more in command and comfortable running plays right now. They didn't really put either QBs to a real test in terms of strength, but Daniels had some plays with perfect placement in scrimmage drills. Both had highlight plays but if I had to name an #LSU starter right now I think the clear option is Jayden Daniels.

When Jayden Daniels makes the first guy miss and breaks it into the second level of the defense, it really is electric. #LSU @LSUfootball
