Like Texas Tiger says. Go deep first play. Like the play to RR in the SEC Champ Game. If that hit GA was Done in the first half. JJ just shorted the throw.

Ford at RB, Hilliard at FB. Shepard and Randle at WR. One TE. Shepard goes in motion, and starts running slightly backwards like he's going to run a reverse. Fake a pitch to Ford who would fake the reverse to Shepard. Delayed handoff up the middle to Hilliard.

So, JJ would fake a pitch to the right as Ford runs to the right for a pitch play, and then turn and hand the ball to Hilliard who would take it up the middle for 3 yards.

Prior to Shepard going in motion I would pull Randle in by the TE and make it look like he's going to block off the right edge of the defense. Instead, he can pull behind the offensive line along with the TE and block up the middle for Hilliard.

Yea, I said 'want' because I think we all know the likely first play will be a run up the gut.

I like PA to Peterson. Less expected than RR

Option Pass deep to Randle, opening play touchdown.

Landry has a big play on Kick Return.

LSU feeds off the momentum and Montgomery stops Richardson on a run up the middle for no gain. Richardson then gets 3 yards. McCarron drops back targets Maze. Reid makes the hit for a incomplete pass.

Bama punts it to Tyrann Mathieu and returns it 70 something yards for a touchdown..

Then you see Saban yelling and doubt in the eyes of the Bama players. Camera goes to the crowd and you see guy Tide fans crying being comforted by the girls.

Want to see? Roll out pass--start running those fat Alabama linemen back and forth across the field and do not stop.

Will see? SW off tackle for 1 yard, lots of chest thumping by those fat Alabama linemen.

2nd play of game. same formation, except Randle far right, and Shepard close right side. TE also on right side. Send Hilliard in motion out to the left WR spot. Once he is set, have Shepard go in motion towards the line and bump block either the DE or OLB, whoever is rushing that side. Then, start to run the option to that side with JJ and Ford. Oh wait, it is a fake, JJ stops "running the option" and drops back to pass.

Randle fakes blocking for a second and then takes off deep right side. Hilliard runs a short safety route on the left side. Ford is a dump off short on the right side. Shepard "falls down" by the line of scrimmage and then stands up for a dump off up the middle.

Hopefully, the deep pass to Randle is there. If not, dump it off.

Want to see = Jet sweep to RS10 with a pass back across the field (with RR2 blocking from his fake slant) for JJ9 to run his arse off.
Will likely see = Pitch to the right, power running play for 3 yards.

Did anyone else on here run the "swinging gate" offensive line-up in high school? We ran it at least once a game and had a 90% success rate on getting huge yards.

I like when we start off a game throwing deep. I formation play action to RR is a solid way to start off the game offensively.

If it hits, possible TD, if it doesn't then at least you are showing that you will air it out. Really i like it because it is an exciting start if you connect.

I think Alabama coaches will drop safeties back the first few plays just because of this...but to answer your question, I think we should run a screen play to OBJ

Maryland I, 2 TE set w/ no receivers. JJ @QB, Copeland (280lbs)@FB, Stampey (240lbs)@HB, and Hilliard (240lbs)@ HB......... 760lbs hitting the Bama D right up the middle.

Then if we need speed, Stampey @FB, Hilliard / Ware @HB, Ford / Ware @ HB........

Would love to see how effective this would be.

This. I'd love to see something bold but it'll be up the gut for a while. Won't get much at first, but by the 4th we'll be gouging 'em for 6-8 yards per.

Beat me to it - I was going to say two point conversion.
