1988 Ohio St
2007 Arky
1994 Auburn
199? Alabama. We were winning to end the streak at home and the QB ZOW made a big comeback.

First/Most Heartbreaking LSU Loss

Tennessee game in 2005 had to be the most nausiating meltdown I think I've witnessed.
Its one thing to lose close ones or just get shutdown from the first kick off.

Its another thing to have a very solid lead, dominate the game in every area, win the turnover battle, time of posession and move the football almost at will for 30 minutes and lay the biggest liquid shite of a 2nd half I've seen put out by this football team in 20 years.

But Jan 9 trumps everything.

Still feels like a loss. Sorry.

I honestly wish we would have lost it. LOL

Ole MIss in 1969; this was Mac's national championship team if we win. Then Texas ducked us by playing Notre Dame in the Cotton Bowl.

Started watching LSU football regularly in 2000, so I would have to say the 2003 Florida game. I went to the game and really thought it was going to cost us a trip the NC game. Fortunately it didn't because I got a ticket to the championship game

The 2007 Arkansas game. Thought our chance for a national championship was completely gone.

While 1/9 was much worse. 2007 Arkansas was the epitome of heartbreaking. There is no other word to describe this game.

I just sat in the stands and stared at the field motionless until a cop asked me to leave the stadium.

Several games have infuriated me to varying degrees, but Tennessee '05 and maybe Arkansas '07 are the only ones I can categorize as heartbreaking.

2012 bcs game aside. Florida 06 hurt real bad cause I knew how good that team was along with the several little happenings that keep that team from winning that game

Although i remember it vividly, I don't count '79 USC because LSU was not supposed to be within two touchdowns of that team (go back and look at that roster!!!)

My first real heartbreaking loss was the 24-27 loss to the Maroons in 1982 following the 20-10 win over Bama.

I still hate John Bond.

Hate. Him.

Easy answer, Auburn LSU 1994. All of those damn pick sixes. We could have beat them too. Damn Jamie Howard. Second one would be vs Miami in TS when it poured. My dad got hit in the head by the flag pole in the south end zone. That game sucked.
