Why does he have a job still? He is terrible. Our pitching honestly hasn't been good in a while and today has been the worst it's been. Dude shouldn't have a job tomorrow.

bullshite. This has nothing to do with pitchers that are hurt. We’re talking about the guys that are suited up and have been recruited to play for LSU and wear an LSU uniform. Which of those guys has improved as the season has gone on?
Let me go ahead and answer that for you. None! There isn’t one guy on the staff that you can depend on from game to game. Some from inning to inning and even a few from batter to batter.
We have complained a lot about the hitting this year but a supposedly solid coach has not been able to produce any consistency from any of these guys.

The starter who got rocked today and has had issues all season pitched on the Olympic team before Dunn was his coach

Just stop with the excuses. You guys pointing out the injuries to two freshman act like those are the only two pitchers Alan Dunn is responsible for. He’s responsible for the whole staff and I’m assuming the final approval of recruited pitchers signing with LSU. How many have struggled throwing strikes? How many have struggled holding runners? Most if not all of them. That’s on him. Either they grossly missed on a bunch of these guys or he is not developing them.

I'm not a 'need to fire the coach" person, but Mainieri may need to re-evaluate some areas in his coaching staff.
