Yep. We need these two to STEP UP for sure. Seems like Bregman is being more patient at the plate and it's slowly helping him out. Not sure about Ibarra yet, but if guys like Fraley and Hale can continue to turn in some good games, we should be fine.

I think most of us agree this is our best lineup.
Of course you never know when Paul is gonna over-coach and change up the lineup because we are going against a left handed pitcher.

It has worked in the past. I think he has tinkered with matchups more this year than any other.

I can definitely say Stevo won't be batting leadoff against a lefty. He's batting like .150 against them.

Stevenson has carried this team. He's had help here or there, but no one has been more reliable and consistent and even clutch. Scivicque was there at one time, but has slumped. Pitchers have adjusted to him and he needs to readjust.

What's odd is that last year PM was the exact opposite with the lineup keeping guys in spots without trying new things. This year, he's overkilled it.

I mean, that kind of makes sense. Last year we had a lot of established upperclassman, and we were good enough offensively to not have to worry about shaking around the lineup to get rid of the weak bats. I do agree that he's been shuffling way too much this year though. Definitely over-compensating for our loss of hitting this year.
