Porter had a rough start to that game but I think a lot of that had to do with Vadal being out to begin with.

Alexander and Hawkins on the left side with Dodd at Center, Clapp at RG and Pocic at RT seems like the best combo on paper.

Would like to hear somebody in the Media ask Jeff Grimes this question in regards to this OL combo, but most of them seem scared to ask any LSU coaches any probing questions outside of their standard and traditional "Softball" query's...........

To be honest, I'm not sure if dropping weight would change his skill set that dramatically. Just not sure he has elite foot speed for the edges. Some bigger tackles still have those onion choppy feet, bro.

Not a knock on him as he's a stud on the inside and guards get paid a ton of money, too...
