For real. The first rule of fight club is you do not speak of fight club. CBK isn’t gonna come out and be like we’re ready to beat your arse in the game and in the parking lot. But he has to love that he has some guys on this team who are passionate about football.

Yeah apparently this was a brawl that he wasn't happy about. But hey teaching moment and we will see what he says about it tomorrow.

You can take the boys out of the hood, but you can't take the hood out of the boys.

I feel like this is overblown and media dudes are about to lose some credentials. BK is giving the media tons of time to watch practice this fall camp… that’s about to go bye bye

When Dallas was showing a lack of energy in practices Jimmy Johnson would tell Michael Irvin to "start a fight today".

Harold Perkins didn’t play another snap.

Known as a Tennessee game

Yeah, the excuse they used for him not playing was scheme related, which is total nonsense

Because if that's the case, every team we play will expose our arse running Tennessee's offense just to get him off the field

How long was it afterwards that he completely dominated and dictated the outcome of the game against Arkansas?

I really don't want to disparage Kelly or House with the excellent job both did last year, but that excuse was just utter bullshite. I had guys come in from out of town with sideline passes and everything. Told them to look for Perkins to have a big game, then......

I can only assume our staff dropped the ball or he was disciplined for an unannounced transgression

Teaching moment for sure. All the folks in this thread saying how much they love the fire would absolutely oppenheimer their minds if Denver Harris or Malik Nabors got a personal foul late that allowed a last second FG to give Bama the win. You like the guys being aggressive, but you have to harness it.

We also didn’t celebrate trans people back then. Unfortunately it’s a different world we live in

This is not unusual. Fights on the field happen all the time. Just means we have some quality and competitive players.

means you have some alphas on the field. a little emotion says that this means something to them. this is a good thing.

BK will handle it

for the first time in a long time...i completely trust that the staff will handle this properly.

Should we assume Malik was not packing heat at practice?

Punches thrown, guys taken to the ground, multiple people involved. Malik Nabers and Kyren Lacy got sent to the locker room. Harold Perkins didn’t play another snap. Brian Kelly was not happy.

What, no one squared up to Maason Smith? I'm disappointed.

Moscona said on AFR that Maason Smith “body slammed somebody”, but said he couldn’t get the number.
