Come on man you know damn well if that wasn't a football star at lsu wearing that shirt you would have a totally different opinion on the matter.

Ironic, considering your comparison. This line of thinking isn't transitive. It's case by case, and you're comparing apples to oranges, to the extreme.

Actually, I wouldn't have a different opinion. I turned on Jeremy Hill after seeing him sucker punch a kid outside of Bogie's, unlike most fans. I'm not a sheep and and form my own opinion, whether or not it serves my own fandom.

Did you seriously compare a guy who exterminated 6 million Jews to a college football player wearing a t shirt?

Buga wearing that shirt was poor judgement, nothing to make a huge deal over but not the message I want to see him making.

Its not a conspiracy why do the media only tell and show their own agenda, left or right? To get votes and make them selves look good. Once in government they can sway law in ways to make what ever business interest them prosper. By creating problems where there are none creates hate between people. Instead of people just having an opinion it's now against people's belief or religion and causes hatred. When you split a population up just like a team it can tear them apart. Now instead of that team focusing on the real task they are now focused on a made up problem they think needs fixing while the other team wins the ship. Get it

Well, than make whatever point you're trying to fricking make because this is literally the only thing you have been talking about the last three days. I also bet your FB page is filled with antagonistic comments and probably more vague opinions of LF.

Just make your point so everyone can understand and you can finally shut the frick up about already.

People act like they know without a doubt that these officers were not acting overly aggressive and possibly fueled by hate.

LINK

A shame that some of our fans are salty for LF7 for speaking his mind about a topic that affects a lot of people of color, but at the same time judge the officers who committed a crime.

So you think because LF supports the black lives matter movement it means he hates the police? Like another poster said, you don't have to choose sides here. I'll guarantee he has shook the hand of about a dozen cops since Dallas. Support for one side doesn't mean hatred for another. Is that such a foreign concept to you?

Ashamed that buga posted a pic of Alton on a Tshirt? Baton Rouge is making an arse out of itself nationally right now and it's sentiments like this one that help me understand why.

The police killed a guy caught on film, while he was pinned down completely. Buga and every person in BR should find this unacceptable, but not the good ole boyz. Smh

So in other words you're saying that choosing to support black lives matter means you have no problem with 5 cops being murdered? Support for both is out of the question? What makes you so sure DG doesn't support black lives matter?

What side? That people should not get killed side? That's the problem in America, everything gets politicized and everyone is an "enemy" wtf?

I know plenty of wasps that watched that video and thought it overreaction, I myself didn't watch nor do I plan to, you can't tell shite from those videos because they rarely show the whole incident

I'll wait for DOJ report.

This thread needs to be moved to the political board, or better yet anchored. I come here to read about LSU FB, not fing Bama, not fing Hillary or Trump, not BLM or Bad Cop diatribes. Put all that shite some where else.

This is honestly the root cause of the problem

I have said LF is a wonderful young man. I have said LF is someone I would be proud for my young son to look up to. I simply said I disagree with him wearing this t shirt. And now I hate African Americans? It's absolute bullshite. I can disagree with someone, and it has nothing to do with the color of their fricking skin. I disagree with white people who I love all the time. Hell, I disagree with my wife once a day

I look at it this way. I do think LF did it with the best of intentions. However, a very vocal group of people who are in "support of Sterling" have been doing some extremely violent and illegal things that do cross lines. So unfortunately, he will be lumped in with those people.

Why do you look at it that way? Has Fournette done anything extremely violent with respect to showing support for Sterling? NO! Has Fournette done anything illegal that cross lines with respect to showing support for Sterling? NO! So why in the actual frick would Fournette by lumped in with those people doing violent and illegal things that do cross lines, in your mind? It can't be that he's done anything violent or illegal. What possibly could it be that makes you think he will be lumped in with "those people" other than the fact that he's black and showed support for Sterling?

ETA: I don't mean to infer that you hate black people at all. I'd just like to know that given that Fournette has done nothing illegal or violent in showing support for Sterling, why do you think he will be lumped in with those people who have been violent and done illegal things? Also, if he is lumped in with those people, would you defend him?

Because people are lazy. If you have a confederate flag decal, you are a kkk racist who wants all black people dead. Now, in actuality, you may not be that way at all. But you will get lumped in that group by a lot of people

And yes, I would absolutely defend LF if he is lumped in with that group of people.

Well, that just goes to show you. I had him confused with that guy from Australia. I thought he was picking sides in the kangaroo abuse situation . Things are going to hell everywhere.

holy shite from that article
quote:

Michael Elsbury, who has been with the department for about 15 years, still faces a criminal investigation even though he resigned, said Cpl. Don Coppola, a Baton Rouge Police spokesman.

The allegations surfaced Wednesday when NAACP state President Ernest Johnson said he was shown a series of text messages with racial slurs that purportedly had been sent by Elsbury to a friend outside of the Police Department.

The texts were given to police “by a girl, a friend” of Elsbury’s, Police Chief Carl Dabadie said Thursday night.

Part of the string of texts read: “I wish someone would pull a Ferguson on them and take them out. I hate looking at those African monkeys at work … I enjoy arresting those thugs with their saggy pants.”

Another part of one of the texts reads: “They are nothing but a bunch of monkeys.”

Dabadie said once the friend turned the cellphone in to police, detectives worked to try to authenticate the text messages and determine whether Elsbury sent them.
