He will definitely play again.

Probably not

Running backs are pretty much throw aways and he doesn't have an established track record to fall back on.

This isn't about whether or not Guice will be allowed to play. I don't think the NFL, as an organization, will ban him from playing. The issue is whether any team would consider signing him. Tyreke Hill is one of the best players in the league. Derrius Guice is a guy who has barely played and coming off an ACL injury. He hasn't established himself to be given star treatment. He's a guy that was still trying to prove himself before these criminal charges were filed and before the USA piece and before the Title IX lawsuit came to light. Guys in his situation don't typically see second chances. Running backs who aren't generational talents are not exactly a hard to come by commodity in the NFL, especially when teams are choosing between a guy with a ton of baggage and one without.

Brown is a HOF talent and if he wasn't Brady's boyfriend he might not be playing. Guice has as many season ending injuries as TDs.

Ray Rice was an all-pro running back and never saw the football field again after being charged with domestic assault against a woman that later became his wife.

Wasn't Ray Rice on the back end of his career? I thought he had kinda sucked for a couple of years before his indecent.

He was one year removed from a pro bowl selection, entering his 7th year in the league, and 26-27 years old.

He also averaged 3.1 yards on 214 carries that last season. He was done.

He played through a pretty decent injury that entire season he suffered in the first couple of games
quote:

“I had an injury, man, a traumatic injury,” he says, referring to the Grade 3 tear of his rectus femoris—one of the two major muscles in his left quad—that made it nearly impossible for him to cut right but that wasn’t recognized till the season ended. He missed a total of two games but never spoke of the injury publicly.
“It looked like my game had diminished, but I played through an injury,” he explains. “I’m fully healed, and if you scratch that one season, I was a Pro Bowl, thousand-yard runner each year before.” Discussing his on-field résumé is one of the rare times Rice sounds at all prideful. “I was catching out of the backfield, doing it all in the NFL. Now that I’m trying to clear the air, I think teams will understand that. Beat writers only see the 3.1 yards.”

Guice missed the entire season in 2018 with a torn ACL and missed 2/3 of the 2019 season with a torn MCL. He's played in 5 total games and had 42 carries in 2 years. That, coupled with his long list of off-the-field issues, I'm sure he looks much better to NFL execs than Ray Rice did.

"He probably needs to focus on life after football and what he's going to do and put this behind him."

That's incredibly hard for many of these guys. They were never prepared for life after it all and never took the time to actually get themselves ready for a career outside of football.

Eh...there was also a video of him cold cocking her in an elevator...that the NFL tried to suppress and upped their punishment when it came out. If there’s video it’s always worse, and the NFL had to make an example of him

The general consensus was that if he could still play someone would take a chance on him. He was done.

Jesus Christ you are one sorry piece of shite. Between this and your lunacy surrounding the coaching changes, you are one of the worst POS I've seen around here. That is really saying something.

This and there are only 32 teams in the NFL and how many NFLL caliber RBs have flooded the market since Guice came out of LSU?

If I were Guice I’d be enrolling in welding classes or something, his NFL prospects are dim
