If you plan a terror attack on the internet or try to hire a hitman, you are most likely talking to an agent or a cop.

Pretty good deal on an AK and 200 rounds.
They were probably using Middle East prices. AK's are much cheaper over there. An Indian made AK-47 rifle costs around $100 on black markets in Somalia.

Arrest the parents too.
No father in that photo, hmmmm

They will still be boldly proclaiming these things as a Muzzie blade passes across their throats.

Say what?
They were concerned he was going to perform a terror attack so they supplied him with the AK-47 he was planning to use?
How was that a good idea?
Am I missing something?
My read:
They were chatting with him online pretending to be ISIS sympathizers or something like that. They do this to find terror cells and active threats. He said online that he wanted to go to Somalia and fight for ISIS and voiced that so they began ongoing communications with him. He said he can't afford to go to Somalia and asked if they could get him a gun so he could carry out an attack in the US. They sold him a gun, which we don't know was functional, after asking him to confirm his plans and that he wasn't backing out. They arrested him after he left the store.
Not sure this is much different than an undercover cop selling bulk drugs to someone who admitted they planned on distribution and arresting them for it.
We'll see how "suggestive" the FBI was in communicating with him. I'm sure an entrapment defense will be attempted. And who knows, maybe they'll have a case. If they said "Why don't you shoot up the Mall of America?" and encouraged it, then they will have a case.

Tell me, which poster are you referring to when you say that? Curious, it would be necessary for you to know that individual personally to make such a statement. Otherwise, you are being hypocritical don’t you think?

Mohamud's messages expressed admiration for recent terror attacks as well as an interest in traveling to fight in Somalia, ultimately for the Islamic State group
What about this indicates the FBI radicalized him? Idiot

agents sold him the gun and ammunition on Tuesday and arrested him on the spot.

Can’t agree with that. They acted as a facilitator until he undid himself.

You're right. The FBI has never done such a thing before and would never, ever even consider doing such a thing.

The thread is about a Somali teenager planning a terrorist attack, and SFP immediately parachutes in with:
quote:
This story is what certain people claim January 6 was.
Then, when asked why he does this, he establishes his superior résumé:
quote:
I’ve been discussing actual examples…for over 20 years.
And finally gives himself the ceremonial reach-around:
quote:
I’m very good at seeing cognitive dissonance and hypocrisy.
He has already completed four-fifths of the patented SFP formula. All that remains is calling everyone stupid and blaming the TD echo chamber.
But the thread is still young. Give him time!

What’s crazy is it’s only from one side of the aisle always.

Looks like they have really assimilated into American life. Those are some lifelong democrats right there.
