Jai Eugene killed a poor guy on a much lesser team I forget which. In 2010–I could hear it from the top of the student section

You nailed it “pun intended” that is the best and my favorite LSU special teams hit, and it ain’t even close!

Still believe Juice is one of the most underrated stars at LSU over the past 4 decades!

Clayton had a great hit, but it still ranks below Juices because Juices was head on, Clayton came in from an angle.

Loston and Carter had similar blocks, but you have to give the edge to Loston because his was head on!

As far as tackles though, Juices reigns supreme

Loston's attempted murder of L Breaux vs OM was pretty great.

He is one of my favorite kickoff team members ever.

Adrian Mayes could lay the wood before #7 was a thing.

Rusty Brown consistently blew up people when he was on the kickoff team.

I remember a ridiculous hit by EJ Kuale, but can’t recall if was special teams play or not.

If memory serves me, this isn’t even the best hit JL80 had on a kick return. He laid the wood on multiple occasions. Not always on the returner, but there are many clips of him absolutely destroying inferior players worlds.

Back in the day, I believe the 80's, when they ran the wedge kickoff returns there was a player named Rusty Brown I believe. He was renowned for being the wedge buster and everyone waited in anticipation of the kickoff to see him sprint down the field and throw his body into the front of the wedge. Some awesome collisions. Not often people know the name of the guys on the kickoff team but he was a popular player for that reason.

Not the best ever, but I liked it when Tyler Shelvin would get up to full speed and deck the guys protecting the punter in 2019. He probably outweighed them by 150 pounds. It was fun to watch.

Here's another decent one from Tory Carter. The Arkansas player definitely ducked his head, alleviating the severity of the hit. However, by doing so, he could have broken his neck.

Tyler was not to be trifled with on punt returns. He took his job seriously.

I think it was a TE from Arky on the business end. The UGA guy was a 300+ OL. Bet he'd never been knocked on his can like that before.
