A lot of Auburn games so far, but for me the 2001 Auburn game had my favorite special teams hit. And while it may not be exactly what we are looking for, it was a hit on a special teams player.

At halftime of the game the Auburn kickers came out on the field while TGBFTL was still performing. The “band refused to yield” and never broke formation. A trumpet player hit one of the Auburn kickers in the head with his horn. In 50 years of watching football, I have NEVER seen this.

Michael clayton vs auburn I believe kickoff after we scored. Just set the tone and we new this was a different type of team

That is hard to beat!!! But Michael Clayton had a few memorable ones also!!

Sad thing is, he would probably be penalized today for bringing the wood.
