#1 USC came to Tiger Stadium 1979. Night game with no TV. Charles White and Marcus Allen in the backfield for the Trojans.

It's just going to take a lot to ever top this one - game had everything - personalities, drama, gambling, lead changes and the crowd was just the peak of everything that makes LSU crowds legendary - probably an era to which we can never return.

LSU 9 BAMA 6 That's football !!! Just making positive yards was an accomplishment. Walking out of Bryant Denny a winner was the absolute best.
