Hard to argue with the 1997 Florida game. First time we beat the #1 team in the country (AP) in Tiger Stadium!
My personal favorite was the 1982 Florida St. game where we dominated #7 FSU and it rained oranges throughout the game. Then then the fog rolled in during the second half. You could barely see Dalton Hilliard run all
Over that Bowden D!

The only game to get cancelled after starting (due to lightning) in Tiger Stadium history!

The 2001 SECCG win over Tennessee. It was a feeling we had finally gotten over the hump - had been a fan since 1973 and never really felt that until then.

This type of thread gets resurrected every couple of years. For those of that remember, the 79 USC game will always be #1. If you can imagine that a loss was your favorite game, you know it had to be special.

UGA 2003. GOAT, during the day no less. I'll never forget the crowd being silenced by UGA's game tying TD with minutes to play but immediately rebounding with a deafening LSU! LSU! chant.
Tenn 2000. A preview of what was to come the following year. Davey and Reeds break out game. Toefield's run. Royal's TD catch on the first play of OT. OT played in front of the student section in the north endzone.
OU 2004. I had never been more nervous during a game. I can't say I enjoyed it at times. None the less, I was there with my dad. We were not seated together but we both had isle seats and only a few rows apart. I damn near tackled my dad after JV's long run to open the game. I destroyed my voice that night. It took a week for my voice to heal.
Oregon State 2004. The atmosphere before the game was electric. Game Day was present. It was hot and humid as hell. Kick off was delayed due to weather. Streakers were running out onto the field. The game was sloppy but JaMarcus Russell made his debut and saved the day. Good times.

I've had season tickets for over 30 years and had the privilege of attending several road games. Some at some really cool spots (Notre Dame, Lambeau Field). But it's hard to imagine any game topping the 2007 game vs. UF. That game was almost a surreal experience and to this day remains the ONLY game I've left exhausted from simply just watching.
It was a muggy mid-Oct. night. IIRC, it was unique in that CBS moved it to a night time kick which was something they rarely, if ever did at that time. The emotion swings and tension throughout were wild. UF seemed to keep going up by 10 and looking to pull away, only for LSU to continue hang in. Stanford upset #1 USC while the LSU game was being played. There was a buzz in the crowd about it when it went final. But, I'll never forget the moment Dan Borne announced the score in during the commercial break right after an LSU touchdown. The stadium went nuts. The LSU sideline went nuts. Everyone knew how big it was because an LSU win that night meant they would be the unquestioned #1 team in the nation. (USC was ranked #1 in one of the polls at the time). It would be the first time LSU was ranked #1 in both polls during the reg. season in decades (remember, LSU wasn't ranked #1 in 2003 UNTIL the won the NC...and they still split that with USC).
Les's rolling the dice on 4th down time and time again added to the tension. While I'm certain the players were physically and mentally exhausted at the end. I can say, the fans were probably more mentally exhausted. The game was like a 4 hour high-wire act.

04 Sugar Bowl with my dad.
A&M in 13 I think it was (Odell vs Manziel) got hammered with some friends from outta state, was dancing in the aisle for the first quarter next to the bad until a state trooper came and pulled me down to the concourse for a convo... ended up talking my way back into the game. My dads buddy who’s had season tickets for decades said after “I don’t know what you said to that officer but I’ve seen hundreds of people walked out of this stadium and you’re the first I ever seen come back in”

What a day that was! The Quarter, Poydras, Champion Square, tailgating.
And we had great seats in the Dome to watch the demolition of Clemson 42-25 by the greatest college team in history.
