Weird. Why would you be from Miss and be an LSU fan unless you have some sort of link to the school. I always assumed most people from MS were a fan of a MS school

Almost everyone would rather follow SEC football and LSU is much closer to southern Mississippi than Ole Miss or MSU. It also helps that we were able to see New Orleans broadcasting.

I live in Los Angeles so when I wear a hat I wear an LSU hat. When I go for a run in the neighborhood, I wear an LSU NC tee as well. I always want to be prepared to Tiger Bait someone. Lately I've been having fun with guys wearing burnt orange.

I also wear P&G to high school games I go to. Always causes a stir.

I'm a bald guy. The sun is very bright in Denver. I spend a lot of time outside. I need a baseball cap.

What else would I wear besides an LSU cap and occasionally a Saints cap?

I wear my LSU hat almost everyday and my t-shirts often but I don't care if people wear LSU gear everyday nor whatever they are wearing, its whatever they want to wear its their perrogative and no one should worry about what others are wearing, just worry about yourself...

I had fun wearing my LSU shirt on the UTAustin campus on the day after the first College WS game (my middle kid was registering for her freshman year)...but it only had the Tiger Eye on it, so not _too_ many people gave me the stink-eye.

Then last week I wore my CWS Champions shirt (with the big number 1 on it) again when I moved my oldest out of her apartment. That got a lot more attention. But I just smiled.

I live in the Houston area, so yeah, I wear my stuff all of the time, so I can get under the skin of every freaking Aggie/Longhorn that sees me.

I don't think Ole Miss or MSU have as strong of a fan base in southern Mississippi as much as in the northern and central part of the state. USM doesn't really have that strong of a following and there are more LSU fans than what people from LA would expect. I happen to know from experience being originally from Gulfport myself.

LSU has a huge following on the coast. The only other school I see with as much support is USM although I'm beginning to see more and more Ole Miss flags, bumper stickers, and gear following last year's football success.

LSU and USM are the two most represented schools on the coast.

I don't think myself a bigger fan, or a know it all when it comes to all the sports, but I do sport the P&G everyday. Even at work.

I piss my manager off everyday, which really makes me want to do it more. (its a give and take relationship) I even bought some long sleeved columbia dress shirts/ties on days we have to dress up.

He's coming around though. Put the "We mess with Texas" picture on his door after the CWS and its still there.

I have about a dozen LSU T-shirts, half dozen hats, a jacket, two coaches polos, LSU Alumni TX plates, golf club head covers, and LSU art and pics all over my office. Everybody in my neighborhood and office knows I am a fan. Not a bigger fan than anyone else but just a good fan. I meet people (LSU fans and others) all of the time wearing my LSU stuff. This past Saturday I was picking up my dry cleaning and one of Terrance Tolliver's high school coaches stopped me and talked.

I take a lot of crap off people around here, because I wear LSU stuff quite frequently. I don't wear the whole "ensemble" like the bammers like to do, though. I have "nice" stuff to wear out, or to games, and then I have some work out clothes that I run in/go to work out in...

I wear LSU gear everyday. Partly because I like it, partly to get the Zero U fans and partly to identify myself to other Tiger fans wherever I am and I have met them in 8 foreign countries and 42 states. The rest I just haven't been to.
But no matter the reason , I have fun with it and that is all that matters.
My wife bought me an LSU golf bag, head covers, golf towels, etc. and when I go on the course with my LSU wind suit (winter only), hat or hatpins and shirt, I ain't hard to spot! LOL

What kind of crybaby shite is this?

Don't buy LSU stuff and don't wear it? Why? You embarrassed? Who gives a shite? You don't want to hang out with the folks that don't mind letting you know their love for LSU then go hang out with Ole Piss fans or something. You won't be missed.

I'm the only one in my office and its pretty isolated. I wear an LSU "coach's" polo about 4 days a week,if not all 5 work days. Its not about "I'm a better fan",I like them, plus I have to go outside a lot and the Nike 'Dri-Fits' are super for the heat and humidity.

If I worked in a high rise,or office park I doubt I'd wear them very often. But a one man show out by myself, who cares ?

I guess if you live in state it may get boring because everyone has LSU gear. But living in Texas, I like to sport my LSU shirts and hats. I was at Disney World last week for three days, and I wore an LSU shirt everyday to let everyone know the deal. I got "geaux tigers" all day long. There were a ton of Tiger fans there!
