That was a freshman type bonehead play for sure.

Why are y'all defending such a dumb play? I think Jefferson played a great game otherwise; I'm not even that peeved about the interception he actually threw in the beginning of the 3rd. I just hate seeing high-risk, low-reward plays like that.

I was booing him because he is an idiot to make a play like that. That kid is one chromosome away from being retarded!

I had no problem with the crowd not accepting that sort of jackassery out of a senior QB.
Any other coach would have pulled him after the interception. Thank God the rest of the team stepped up.

You mean throwing it away to avoid a sack? Ya, how could he.

if he doesn't throw it away, the fans will boo him, if he does throw it away, the fans will boo him. The fans are retarded.

Brees does flip throws like that all the time...right as he went to flip it he got hit and it caused it to go high, it was a chance to make a positive play out of a sack
Had it gotten sacked fans would have complained about him being "too stupid" to throw it away. The kid can do no good in the eyes of our stupid fricking fans

Bree's, Rodgers, romo all have that 'farve' flip pass. It's just a pitch forward.

Yeah and then Garrett Gilbert has a shovel pass returned for 6 against Bama in the national championship game.

Why is it realistic to think highsmith catches a ball that he wasn't very close to and the only person on the field that had a chance at it wore and LSU jersey and damn near caught it.
Really? Maybe if he was 9 feet tall... then he could have caught it for a 1 yard gain vs a 1 yd sack?
That play was horrible. Sometimes he just feels the pressure and tries to make something out of nothing as if it was the last play of the game. Its one of his flaws. Accept it with his strengths.

It was a horrible play but the fans suck at key moments

That wasn't a throw away. If Highsmith catches that (which wasn't completely unrealistic), it's another 6 points for Arkansas' defense.
This... it was almost picked off.
